VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - The Fosters: Back 2 School [v0.5] [_13_]

A solid VN. There are very few meaningful choices, and the storyline is beyond the realm of reality, but the renders are excellent, the pacing is very well done, and the writing is good. The fact that this artist is able to have multiple women with the same body shape and hair color and actually put enough detail into them that you can tell them apart puts him leagues above most on this site.

Off to a much better start than the first game (The Fosters). Giving it a 3.9 rating based on the following:

+ Familiar characters from the first game, even has an intro to get you up to speed if you didn't play it.
+ A good mix of older and younger love interests, with decent body shapes that vary
+ Music that helps set the mood in scenes
+ Good enough renders that no one looks plastic. Varied environments and good lighting for most.
+ Some choices that don't really appear to push the story one way or the other (yet).
+ Decently smooth animations, though sex scenes aren't very long. Occasionally has different camera angles.
+ Enough sex scenes to keep you interested, but only a handful of full-on penetration scenes. What is there is good though.
+ The story is a bit frivolous and less involved than the first game, but it's more light-hearted and believable which I appreciated more.

- Very short at this point (~5-6 hours), hopefully development speed keeps moving steadily.
- Game doesn't have character Bios which would have been helpful for people playing 1st time, returning after a while, or just to refresh their memories on who is who.
- Not many kinks. Handjob, oral, vaginal, one (?) anal, some virginity scenes. Spanking early on, and some humiliation (for a side-char) near the end.

I would VERY much like to see expanded sex scenes - the ones that are there are short animation loops, and often end quickly. As a result, it's easy to pass them right by without getting engaged in them.

It's worth playing, though I highly recommend playing (or re-playing) the first game (The Fosters) before playing Back 2 School. I went into it cold (~4-5 months after playing the first game), and had forgotten who everyone was.

bad game models are mostly bog stanadard with little to no effort put into them .. a lot are even fugly ..the story is cringe ... the animations range from meh to what the hell is that shit ....the whole harem of teens is stupid and kinda creepy ... not my thing i guess but the game is just shite

The original seemed like kind of a mess, so I never played it, and while I usually the completionist in me demands the whole tale, it doesn't seem necessary here. This follow up is an amazing stand alone in the genre of family and schoolgirls and the idealistic pursuit of harems of young girls. Nice entry, enjoyed it immensely. Good selection, some really top notch models used. If anything the new ones are much, much better than the old ones. Authors craft improved a lot.

There is a good balance between animation and story. Many of these games feel a bit soulless. But you can tell that the creater has a real talent for keeping the story interesting and funny. And also puts a lot of effort into giving the characters and animations a lot of charisma.

The first part of the game was cruel, amazing and just dragging you into the dark world where most of us never will be.....fortunately. But not too easy to follow the story in one go, but you have to.
With this second story it is more the happy story. It is amazing what has been made up till now. The story is much closer to a small location, but it extend in detail. Yes, still some dificult subjects are presented to you, but brought on a lighter way.
Overall very good and pleasant surprise. Especially the music is so much adding to the story, so don't forget to put your headphones or speakers on.

So far this is a huge improvement on the first game! while the graphics are about the same, the story-telling and atmosphere are leaps and bounds better than the first. I can honestly say that the dev is really trying to grow and put in the work to entertain the players. If it continues on this path I honestly think this will be one of the better games on this site.
