Ren'Py - The Futa Experiment [v0.84 Alpha] [Torian]

It is broken af. You cant even play it after the "intro" if you start with the GF viewpoint active. It just breaks.

Then the "game" itself is boring. You know that the cum is addictive, but you literally cant avoid it. All you can to with the "girls" is having sex or giving BJs. Oh - and clean their rooms.

There is no other "gameplay". The whole construct/premise is presented very bland and stupid.The writing is as bad because there are no arguments or discussions.

In concept the idea is not bad, but then you have some choices how to avoid or not avoid the problems you are facing. The thing with the coffee in the beginning is quite good - stuff like that needs to be the focus. That the "girls" try to trick you and not just try to rape you.

Here it is just right in your face.With little to no options. The poor UI does not help.

When you have a game that is basically 80% repeated rng content, then at least try to add options into that, how to handle these situations. As I said, the idea could be fun, if you had the tools (on all sides) to "game it" - they try to expose you to their cum and you have the chance (maybe its harder to avoid stuff when you are exhausted (every cleaning reduces you perception .. something like that)) to counter it.

Currently I guess they will just kick you out if you dont give in to their demands. That is especially bad because the game says in the intro that they wont do that. Give the player the option for a handjob - ffs - add quicktime events to dogde cum fountains ..

In the current state this is just a messy pile of words and at best mediocre renders of more or less attractive people.

5 stars for the concept alone. One of the most unique and interesting games on this site, really fun if you're into Futa and NTR themes.

Sure, there are some obvious bugs here and there, but so far the dev has been quite active in fixing them and adding new content. Keep up the great work!

Honestly one of the hottest games I've played in a long time. The story is fun, but I really like how it's not just a visual novel, but there's a required level of work to slowly have your girlfriend develop relationships with the futas and addiction to cum for both of you. I'm definitely supporting this game.

Like idea of lesbian+futa ntr. And all of futa stuff. Great work, keep going. Some bugs appears, but it's ok and don't break game mostly. Hope to see more. Thanks for a game all it need - is a more content. Maybe more reactions on PC state and GF interactions

This is a shame. It's a very fun concept, with a primary kink that is a personal favourite. Unfortunately the execution is poor and gets in the way. I hope this review isn't discouraging, and that the developer keeps going and developing this, because the concept is promising and I love games which have dominant women with penises.

Renders
The renders are low quality. The models are not attractive, and the environments are not interesting. Sex scenes typically have only a few distinct images.

Writing
The writing is perfunctory. Characters are 2 dimensional and have no hidden depths. There are, at least, no major problems with poorly translated English or misspellings that I've noticed.
This isn't a huge deal for a porn game, but it would have been nice if there had been something to salvage this.

Gameplay
There are three main goals it seems - avoid becoming addicted to cum, maintain your relationship with your girlfriend, and avoid getting kicked out. These are decent goals, however unsatisfying as implemented.
The basic loop gets boring after a while - there weren't enough random events or diversity in tasks to keep me interested. It's annoying that the game starts with you in a position where every character wants you to leave (and will vote for you to leave). This does not gel with the story, where most characters are excited for you to be there.
What actions cause the time to increment is not very clear, and some days finish before all tasks can be completed despite very few actions being taken (possibly, this is a bug).
As the goals/things to avoid progress (e.g. cum addiction), there isn't a huge impact on the game as it stands. There are a few throwaway lines, but it doesn't feel like the game actually changes even if you have wildly divergent states.

Bugs
There exist a fair amount of bugs, which has been a constant in the versions I've tried (both 0.3 and 0.2). These bugs can cause e.g. Renpy to report an error which you need to ignore, or tasks to not register as done.
Additionally, there are major logic errors - if you choose not to bring your girlfriend with you, many scenes will still display as if you had brought your girlfriend, for example when telling characters they are allowed to attempt to seduce her.
Given the prevalence of the bugs, it gives me the feeling that the dev released these versions without even 5 minutes of testing.

TFE in its current stage is more of a "proof of concept" more than an actual game. "As wide as the sea, but as deep as a puddle" is an accurate way to describe it.

Pros:
- Interesting premise
- Good character design
- Primitive, yet interesting and engaging mechanics
- Good Dialogue

Neutral:
- As of now, MC is not a character but rather a vessel to observe through. No real personality, but i expect that to change in the coming updates. Would love to see some RP here, with reactive choices that allows the player to shape MC.

Cons:
- Sex scenes have no substance
- NTR mechanic is underdeveloped, as of 0.2
- Lack of control over GF's actions, making player input feel unimportant.
- No consequences for performing certain actions, which should logically have HUGE consequences.
- VERY Buggy (Download Spreek's Bugfix Patch on Page 13 of the thread to fix most of them)

I really enjoyed it. There are lots of scenes. Right now it needs more relationship balancing and there are too many bugs, but this is a promising start. There aren't any real differences between this game and DGD however, some of the futas in DGD have butter faces. There isn't a single ugly girl in this game. I do hope that more futas are added later.

A promising start with good art and characterization of the hotel residents. A little bit buggy even with the fixes - with a gameplay loop that needs some fine tuning also; but overall a great start.

It leans into the femdom elements moreso than its progenitor, with a more grounded experience that doesn't make a mockery of itself, like the original did.

All of the characters have their own models & personalities that compliment or contrast with one another as well as the protag & his gf.

There is a problem with crashes, scenes not showing properly and some major problems with balancing the gameplay systems; but with the fix enough of these problems are resolved to play the game somewhat without incident.

Good start, 4/5 stars from me.

ill give it 4 stars due to the fact if the bugs are fixed and the current build is polished, the random scenes despite being full on cum addiction for your girlf friend, so maybe ad the rest and fix it up a bit. it could work as a nice base.

the game has a mechanic to change characters (male/female), in addition to having NTR, which for now all options have several scenes. but if the author is not careful he can overload himself with this game.This is already noticeable by the amount of bugs, and yes, he (or some very strange person) is fixing the bugs that are posted in the comments. I only took one star for the amount of bugs To be honest, I hate bugs from the bottom of my heart, but other than that, I'd love to follow your development on this game.

Game is basically a second version of Dickgirl Dorm, and it's hard to avoid direct comparisons. Personally, I think the game has better models and benefits from having a smaller cast of characters.

Pros:
-NTR is fully optional, can be turned into netorase with characters that you choose to.
-Hot futas trying to fuck you and your girlfriend stupid
-While the gameplay is a tad repetitive there is more than enough content to keep it from feeling that way.
-You can catch your Girlfriend fucking other people and call bullshit on her pretty feeble excuses (Haven't tested how this works with characters you haven't given permission to fuck her, but I really like this addition regardless, and hope it's expanded on for both the netorare and netorase versions)
-Most of the things this game fell short of in previous versions are being worked on and fixed, even if they aren't done entirely, and the patch notes showed that there is more to be done on various things that I and others criticized before like the UI and general balancing of the mechanics. Very nice to get a decent idea on what the dev is working on behind the scenes and what to expect improvements for in future versions.

Cons:
-Balancing is needed. The relationship gains from talking to the girls is laughable, and since you get a random number of tasks each day it's very possible to have nowhere near enough tasks to get them to like you enough to not vote your ass out. While the game over hasn't been implemented yet, this feels like it needs adjusting. And while, yes, you have the option to give them permission to turn your girlfriend into their personal cum sock for massive relation boosts, opting for netorase over netorare shouldn't feel necessary to play the game.
-Bugs. This is the area that has been most improved upon, but they still exist. All the old ones are gone, but some of the new bathroom scenes are bugged and require you to rollback the scene. Most likely these will be fixed by the next release, but still.
-While most of the models are decent, Darcy doesn't look that great.
Don't know if that's just me, but she looked lower quality than the others.

TLDR:
-Game is a newer version of Dickgirl Dorm that has a lot of potential, most of the bugs have been fixed and the dev is improving the game slowly but steadily, looking forward to more releases.

This is basically Icarus' Dickgirl Dom, but with a new coat of paint over it.

I think this game has much better character models, but the animations are worse in comparison. The way the NTR/NTS mechanic works feels a bit more fleshed out too, imo. No shade on Icarus, his game is pretty good, but I find it much easier to see different scenes in this case without having to either micromanage every action or straight out cheat.

Still, the first release is nearly unplayable. The amount of bugs is astounding. I can't even save my game without causing a crash. I really hope they fix it cuz this might be a great addition to the futa & NTR genre (which is very much needed).

alright, first off, i would actually give this like a 4 or maybe 4.5 for its content and visuals. the gameplay loop is also satisfying enough and facilitates the kind of game we have here. However! This game is so buggy. I experienced numerous renpy crashes(not sure if this is a me/install issue or issue with the overall coding) all over the place, clicking roll back or ignore. I also would show up to someone's room, itd be like, "hello im here" and then all of a sudden "nobody is in this room". and weird jumps all over the place. Also, id do all the tasks, then when im graded after X amount of days "uh yea, we all hate you, please leave"
I get this is 0.1, so i can only hope these things fix in the future.
I like everything else about the game. Futa is always good, futa ntr is massive points. the characters are hot and im interested to see if the plot goes anywhere. This is definitely worth picking up and trying out
