What is that one (or more) game you always return to once you get bored with your last download?
The one with loads of content and great replayability that you just don't get tired of?

For me, it's usually a life-sim/rpg type game like DoL or CoT or something similar.

Never return to AVN's and never do multiple playthroughs unless you count ctrl skipping after the dev fucks up an update making saves invalid.
These games are generally as deep as a puddle of piss so there is no worth to multiple routes.
Unlike my actual favourite normal games that are sandboxes with many tens of thousands of man hours in quest design which non of these will ever even remotely approach.

Those are my favorites too. Any recommendations?

BG3, Modded Skyrim VR, Modded Fallout 4 VR, if I can play anything VR that is a massive bonus.
Oh yeah Ark Survival Ascended which could never run in VR because the devs are fucking useless, I love dinosaurs in a non f95 fashion, purely platonic.

Rimworld + , the base game is already a war crime simulator. Add porn and the world is your oyster. Add more RJW addons/steam workshop stuff and you have thousands of hours of gameplay. Hero mode if you want a main character. Genetics, cults etc etc.

Damn you... I've been clean since last time a major update broke RJW, now I'm probably doing that this weekend
Any new must-have addons for RJW?
Why limit yourself, grab them all. Only the body packs have compatibility issues iirc so only pick one.

used to be: MGQ paradox part 1 and The Last Sovereign.
But I played both of them so much, I could like play all of it in my head without neeeding the game.

I still have hope to some day come up with another set of house-rules (MGQ-p) that deliver satisfying non-obnoxious difficulty and result in actually different playing experience.
but I experimented with that already for some time, so ... :-|

Artificial Academy 2 is great for replayability, I come back to it from time to time when I'm bored
