HTML - The Ghost Hunter [v.0.4.3] [Trykowka]

I don't normally review games but this ones deserves some momentum. This isn't slow burn corruption, it's more of a night to night resource that is fun to empty. Personally I like all the themes and subthemes, the selected gifs and images are a bit random even for an html game, but its a very unique concept.

I also love how active the dev is getting updates and adding content. Its a faster game but sometimes thats nice. Just enough story to care about getting the rewards.

Would love more gifs and depth of content flatly added for an update over anything else, but hey thats me more content is more better.

It's Phasmophobia as an HTML porn game. Which is like.. kind of OK I guess? But there's issues.

1. This game desperately needs a QOL pass. It takes way too many clicks to get through the ghost hunting bits and too many things are locked behind the dumb "once a day" thing when you've already got the ghost hunting as the main game loop.

2. The CGs you get are pretty much completely random and not well connected to player actions or ingame events. There are too many CGs and the game is NOT deep enough to have all of them. "oh but it's variety" it's a shallow puddle a mile wide. There's no depth to randomly spamming a pile of CGs at you while you play a completely different game, I may as well just play Cookie Clicker and occasionally open a porn GIF on my second monitor.

Also, lol at the corruption tag. There's zero progression, either you don't have the "corruption" stat high enough or you do, and all of the scenes are full enthusiasm.

I love the concept, the content, and how it all comes together! I'm excited to see where this game goes. If you've not played it yet, give it a go, the ghosts are waiting! Enough talk, I'm gonna get back to playing. 5 stars, highly recommend

The idea of the game itself for me, is great. The tutorial for the first contract would be helpful tho. More just simple description of what is what.

What i didn't like is real porn. It feels off. It doesn't fit the game and vibe. It it would be 3d renders, or even good/polished AI photos, i would be more into it.

This might be the biggest disconnect between the review average and the content of the game that I've seen on this site.

The Good

• There's a game loop that more-or-less makes sense
• There are a few non-standard mechanics & puzzle solving moments

The Bad

• The entire philosophy of the game boils down to forcing the player to deal with mundane inconveniences. The game loop, the puzzles, the interface, the navigation, the sidequests all have one goal: get the player to push lots of buttons, because they can be used to trigger random porn.
  • Why does it take my character 5 clicks of the same button to read a digital thermometer? Because each click can be used as a trigger for a random event. This is about as fun as actually measuring the ambient temperature of a room.
    
    
  • Why does does my character need to run to the library 10 times to learn about ghosts? Because each trip to the library will generate some more opportunities to get the player to push more buttons and then play random porn. This is way less fun than an actual trip to the library.
    
    
  • Seriously: fully 90% of this game can be replaced with a single button on the screen that has a ~5% chance to play a random video from PornHub.

great concept, love the game! looking forward to seeing it more fleshed out. more bukkake scenes and more characters added hopefully with more surprise events also. best paranormal game ive played so far. great work

I dont have a single fucking clue why anybody with a sane mine would think of recreating a phasmophobia porn game in HTML but lo and behold we're here.

And the more shocking thing is that it's actually not bad. A decent enough in-game guide and essential hotkeys turned this game from a confusing clusterfuck to an enjoyable experience. I look forward to seeing where this game goes in the future.

This game is very satisfying to play for some reason, even beyond the smutty elements. I'm really enjoying the concept so far and look forward to seeing where development goes.

There is a lot of grind right now, but I imagine (and hope) that as the world is built up and expanded, there will be more ways to gain the resources needed, and this will make things feel a bit less redundant.

My biggest request is more interaction with the ghosts. I'd love it if we could engage with the ghosts once being caught (resist or submit?), or even offer ourselves to the ghost at any point in the haunted houses. As others have said, would also be nice to see more distinct differences in behavior of different ghosts in the houses. I hope we'll see more impact on increasing corruption as well.

This is one I look forward to seeing updates on when it pops up, so here's hoping development continues!

The game is very promising, great idea and well executed.

In this game you play a female MC who is a ghost hunter in an alternate universe who hunts horny ghosts for a living who try and corrupt and fuck the MC.

The gameplay is interweaved into the sexual content which I'm a big fan of.

The game is pretty early in development but has a good amount of content 8 hours plus.

Some systems are WIP or not implemented yet.

The 5 star rating is for the potential this game has. If it never was to get updated significantly I would give it a 4 star rating.

Fun game built on the premise of an already fun game. LOVE the additions that have been made, and looking forward to what's to come in the future. I would love to see unique ghost characteristics in play during investigations if possible, and chances of encounters when changing rooms.

Really interesting game with a lot of potential, nice to see a fresh take on the twine-style games when it comes to the actual gameplay. In that there is actually some gameplay There is the typical grindy elements but the ghost hunting is quite fun and can be challenging at first.

To be honest i almost never leave reviews, but here i had to, while not a lot of content, the game is awesome. The people who can go with you on a hunt are really good. Liked how the ghost could haunt your own house, tho that was at start, later on, it didnt exist anymore. Would be cool if that could go on throughout the game if you lose a hunt for example or smth? Anyhow, loved the game looking forward to newer updates and more content,

I have to agree with the other reviewers the game is at an excellent state considering the early release. I also confirm that the help content is very confusing. Some tools seem to not work at all on some ghosts. I would also complain that the whole repeatedly clicking the tools to activate them is kinda annoying, it would be better if I were to press them to make them progress.
All in all, really good stuff.

A well done way of adding phasmophobia to just html, and the images are good as well. Honestly genuinely impressed with the coding and effort. The enigma house is a good way to separate animated and regular content for those that enjoy it. Though the tutorial is a little barebones and hard to read, but that's a nitpick for a nsfw game, well done.

Shows great promise, current build is a nice vertical slice, showcasing little bit of everything. There are a few issues tho, such as not having a proper and accessible journal when compared to games like phasmophobia. You can recruit a teammate as well, but only for one of the 3 maps right now. All it needs is a good tutorial. like you can click on the word result in the journal to get the ghost type highlighted

I'm calling it now, this game will likely become one of the greats, it already feels like a masterpiece and it's not even done. The concept is relatively fresh and the execution is excellent. I hope the developer continues adding more ghost molestations and doesn't neglect outside the haunted house!

Game has an innovative or at least irregular premise that feels refreshing. While corrupting the protagonist is a part of the game grind, thematically it fits pretty well. Porn clips are fairly refreshing, not the same recycled clips, downside being that they're not pinned to a given look if that matters to you.

Great game made with HTML real porn for once. The image pack is full of really good clips and great diversity. The gameplay is actually rather similar to the ghost hunting games with obvious limitation since it is made with html but the developer really did great work making everything work. I only encountered one bug in my playtime and even then it was rather minor so I good just back track and fix it easily. Can't wait for future update

So you see "HTML" and "Real Porn" and know what to expect, right? This one is different.

While it shares some aspects of most HTML games (random porn, attribute grind), this one focuses on a detective-like mechanic where you go into haunted houses and try to figure out which ghost you're dealing with.

As you do this, the ghost will assault you - starting with some groping, and eventually fully raping the character if you let her sanity go low enough.

Its main weakness is the lack of character building - the player character is only there as an excuse to watch porn pictures. There isn't any development, and her reactions to the events are rather poor: she can be raped by a ghost all night long and next morning she'll wake up thinking "I need to try harder next time".

It's always refreshing finding games with new mechanics.
That's mostly why I'm giving it a 4 - because with so many effortless games that feel like copies of each other, I'd like to reward those who try something new, even if the quality isn't up there just yet.

Besides polishing the character/writing/story, my main suggestion would be adding hotkeys for the different ghost hunting tools. It's tiresome clicking the same thing over and over, especially when the button is so small.

I'm a big fan of HTML games. This one does something unique from the rest: you can hunt ghosts! You charge up the tools from Phasmophobia to find clues to identify the ghost. Meanwhile the lewd ghost will try and fuck you, as well as the one companion in the game currently if you bring her along. I love this concept and its executed really well with amazingly no bugs I encountered whatsoever. Alongside this content, there are some smaller side-content around the city itself.
A massive bonus: unlike many HTML games, you can cheat without it being locked behind some kind of paywall. Excellent early game version and I really look forward to more content!
