I have been part of the layoffs in the game dev community, laid off just last month which is why I haven't been posting anything. It will be a while before I can get back to this project (providing I don't have to sell anything off). I'm hoping I'll land something soon but as of right now, this project is on hold.

Larion Studios or Arrowhead Studios might be a safe haven for you right now.
Problem is, most studios at the moment are looking for AAA game devs with at least 2 or 3 shipped titles. At the moment I don't have any of that. I only have one title that I can't discuss because of stupid NDA requirements, even though the project was shut down.

Those studios are outside of the country I reside. I have an interview coming up, so we'll see how that goes.
Right now I'm out of work and selling off my stuff. I've been trying to get a new job. Several interviews but nothing past that. I'm hoping to resume later this year but the rate it's going for me. I'm not so sure.

Just a heads-up, you might want to avoid Godot for awhile. Seems things with the developers of that game engine aren't in a great place right now.
Yeah, I've noticed that. I did finally get a new job. Now I'm just trying to make time so I can get back to production on this project.

Yes, I'm just trying to catch up on my bills and everything else before I get back to this project. I'll probably end up refactoring this project to make it run even faster.
