Ren'Py - The Inn [Ch. 2 v1.01.01] [Lykanz]

Do you like memes? Do you like 4th wallbreaks every 3 minutes? Do you like choices that are nothing else then points, which are clearly labeled, so it makes any redundant? Do you like stupid faces and bland low level humor? Then is this game absolutely for you!

I don't even know if there is what kind of gameplay there is, because the writing was so horribly that I didn't come so far, but other people mentioned there is no grind. Therefore I assume there is gameplay.

The graphics are really good. The animations not so much. Yes they are smooth, but you can see that there is no contact. The handjob looked like she was stroking the air around his dick.

Also everything is in your face. You've met a girl, she is instantly into you and gave you a handjob in under two days of knowing each other. It's also incredible on the nose that every female family member you is into you. Yes, it is an 'not'-incest game, we all know that they will come along, but it is so obvious it takes all the fun of an build up and takes the satisfaction away. (to be fair, I didn't come that far, but I already lost all hope for that.

Honestly I would like to give just 1 star, because I think this game is horrible, but that would be unfair. I can see that people could like it, even with it flaws if you share the same humor as the author. So, maybe still give it a try.

The game builds a great premise by the aspects of graphic, story, relationship and fun gameplay with no grind. But while it has a great premise it has very little content.

The amount of content would be normal for such a quality game but the sad thing is, I could write this review 2 years ago and my conclusion still would be same, good premise with little content. I commend the developer for not giving up and I hope we start getting some content soon.

I really enjoyed the game and it would be a shame if such a gem joins the abandoned ones.

While I am still relatively early on in this game, I can't help but give it nothing but compliments. Some of the lines and situations thus far have made burst out laughing in a good way.

For me when it comes to Honey Select games there's no real middle ground, either they're low effort trash or they're amazingly fun and addictive. By now I've tried quite a large number of HS games and I can safely say The Inn not only falls on the latter, but is one of the best I've played.

The thing that immediately stands out as soon as you begin are the renders. The developer is clearly very skilled with HS and knows what he's doing - from animations, to lighting, to poses, to hand gestures and character expressions, the attention to detail is nothing short of super impressive - in fact, you'd be hard pressed to find another HS game with better renders. I'm not going to comment too much on the story as I'm still in the early stages, but so far so good - it's well paced with decent writing and the humor captures quite a few laughs and giggles. The characters (girls) not only look great, but most importantly they all have well written personalities that is skillfully expressed through a combination of well-timed, exceptionally rendered scenes and quirky dialogues.

So yeah, despite minimal time spent with The Inn, it has already left a good enough impression on me to come here on this forum to give a 5 star rating and write a positive review (which I rarely do). Like other HS favorites of mine such as Once in a Lifetime, Now & Then, Depravity, and Ripples, this is a gem I'm willing to put on hold for a while till it's complete.

This is easily one of the best Visual Novel i ever played and i can swear i played a lot of them: it's very clear the developer it's experienced and has some skills. Judging by the averange level of other visual novels the technical department is top notch: renders are very good and i really liked the animations; probably the only downside is the story: this game doesn't shine with originality, i've seen other games with very similar plot (i can't mention them, forum rules). Anyway for me it's still 5 stars and probably it's woth doing a subscription since the developer seems to work consistently on the game.

The Inn delivers a packed and engaging amount of story content, which while might come off as over the top at first, grew on me and at the end of my current playthrough, left me wanting for more.

Overall an interesting story so far with visually appealing characters and a good choice of music with jokes and scenes that made me laugh. I look forward to future developments of the Inn.

I love pretty much everything about this game. Great animation, good story line threaded with a lot of oddball humor, innuendo and fantasy. Story kind of seems to be meandering a bit, but this game is still young, which is a good thing, as I'd like to see this story continue to grow and meander however the author feels it should meander - take us wherever you want friend, I'm down for the scenic route!

+ Very Good Graphics (Can be similar to DAZ3D)

+ Amazing Details (Virtually all scenes look good with a different frame with position or animation of face and body, this makes the characters and the world around them much more alive)

+ Easy Gameplay (It is not at all complex, in fact it helps you a lot with information and also tips, I would say that it is really unnecessary walkthrough)

+ Good Content (It has good content, it manages to get you a lot with the story and the characters making you spend hours admiring)

+ Beautiful and Sexy Girls (All of them are beautiful and each one has its own style, so for the player to choose their favorite: Milf, Tomboy, Cute and Sexy)

+ Good Writing (Easy to understand without many complications)

+ Good Humor (The humor inside The Inn is always welcome, you can become more and more familiar with playing, it’s not something exaggerated so it doesn’t get in the way)

Overall: The Inn is a game more different than I have seen, it manages to innovate a lot by making clichés in incredible content, almost everything in the game is well worked and hard, scenarios, animations, models, humor ... It is a lively and creative game. Lykanz is proof that there are creators who create their projects with love and care, not just thinking about money and doing it anyway. If you think about playing, go ahead and have fun, I believe you will not be disappointed.

This is a fun game. I'm not much a fan this kind of visual engine but in this game things looks quite really good. Renders and girls are beautiful. Lewd scenes are hot. I'm looking forward to the new updates in the future.

A really good game, i really liked the insane amount of humor and break of fourth wall, but i know that this isn't for every one, to be honest the only character that i find sexy and beautifil is val, but the other ones have their own special characteristics that makes them attractive for me. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lenght of the game so far, even the dev knows and joke about it, but it's true though, it could have much more content by now, considering that the first release was in feb 2018, it has like 3 hours of gameplay only , but keep it up with the good work dev

I like the very humid form of the stories, as well as the animations and very good rendering.

I enjoyed the writing and character. I appreciate the humor even if I don't get the references. The visuals are nice. Gameplay is minimal but that's ok for this kind of game. Overall a great job.

One major problem is the bugs. I couldn't continue after the cellphone unlock. A shame too, I wanted to keep playing.

This game is a masterpiece in my opinion. All the main characters are lovable and unique . The use of memes and Easter eggs make the game game very funny and enjoyable . The quality of the sex scenes are great . Although, there aren't many sex scenes involved at the moment I hope that will change in the future.

A fun adult VN filled with memes and 4th wall breaking self-awareness jokes of the cliche VN tropes and Japanese fictional characters stereotypes layered with a very simple but engaging enough plot and character interactions to keep the game interesting and not just consist of jokes and pornographic content.

The visuals and character design are well done with an extra effort from the dev to add animations outside just the sex scenes which are well done. The writing and dialogue are well written especially considering that the game is mostly jokes and satire but still manages, for the most part, to balance the character's development and emotional interactions parts.

Overall I found the game very entertaining, with likable characters and light-hearted humor.

Over all this is a good VN. I played through it back when it had the Halloween stuff in it. Lost track of it since then. I'm glad that was removed. It made no sense and messed up the flow of the story. The error message kinda ruined it. I tried to ignore it, and rolled back. Neither fixed the issue. I'll probably wait and see if this is resolved in future updates.
I do recommend giving this one a play through because it's really a good story. A bit cliche, but good none the less. Keep up the good work

Very impressed can't wait to see what comes next character models look good and the animations aren't bad and the story is building up very well overall I think this game is going to be great hopefully it gets updated regularly and quickly

Man, it was quite hard for me to decide on the score for the game. The graphics are amazing and stunning and the story is quite engaging; the character models are also beautiful (aside from the MC who has a dipshit's face, similar to Max's Life and every other Honey Select game character, which bothers me for a reason). However, while the premise is quite good, there's nothing here to even play for; no H scenes aside from boob groping and the typical caught when masturbating, and that is something that let me down since the game's size is 1GB (I literally finished it in less than 20 minutes reading almost every dialogue) and the graphics are not so good as to justify the file size. I did like the Filthy Frank reference though, that made me laugh hard.

I'm eagerly waiting for the next update, but so far, it's just a good premise but an average game overall.

Excellent game that I enjoyed very much, Great characters, great story, Great animated scenes. Loved the witty humour and dialogue and loved the 'small' (so small, don't blink yeh) joke about "POLITICS" it was sooooooooooo funny!!! Really would recommend this great visual novel as I only found it by chance and didn't regret for a second downloading it as I enjoyed every second of it and i'm pretty sure I will update my review in the future
