listen man you gotta respect what these people are doing they are working their asses off dont get me wrong im guilty of pirating and not being able to support the patreon is something i am really upset about these creators are very good at their jobs and honestly are not getting enough praise on here so if you have something negative just dont say it these creators are already dealing with enough

They actively went through the effort to come here and seek out opposition to themselves to whine about piracy and how they "do sooo much work!" and "help" everyone by using their art and how their life is so hard, moving a mouse around video editing software and downloading images from rule34 is hard work you know! All self pitying I'm a victim now subscribe to my patreon drivel whilst they actively commit crimes. That's number two reason not to engage them they want us to, they are seeking out detractors, the guy you replied to has literally said on this thread he's not coming back here and yet here he is.

They are all obviously deluded and have preconceived ideas of their self importance and see themselves as pioneers in killing the genre, arguing with them is like arguing with an Indian scammer pointless, in fact it's almost an identical experience. It's not stealing they are "helping", it's not paywalling it's "funding" they have a "unique" experience for us never found elsewhere definitely not guys! But to see it we just need your money first etc etc

Also just take the L dude. You got a lecture on copyright law and beat on the head with facts. Your response was to cherry pick an off-topic comment that you could use to your advantage and then throw out an insult at everyone here. A crippled battleship using smoke to cover its retreat. Each side is past the point of debate and just insulting each other now. Other posters here probably made the smart choice to nope out of this pointless argument.

Personally, if i had free money - i would be supporting creators on patreon.
But that doesn't means that majority (~80%) of paywalled content worth ANY money. Big chunk is just junk. Even with joi - lately people are using a slide-show of fucking ai images. They paywalling ai-generated pictures. With some metronome sound on top of it and "ahh yeah good boy <3" text every ~20 seconds.
If you put a lot of effort into work - that doesn't means this work more valuable / worth more money / better in quality. "I've wasted a lot of hours making it, so people should pay for it" is the stupidest argument ever.
If you want to make money from making jois - focus on making commissions instead, perhaps. And learn how to work faster in the meantime, to save some time.

The irony of taking art that someone made for free, and uploaded onto the internet for free for everyone to view and enjoy, then trying to charge a monthly subscription for "content" you made with other peoples work who didn't ask anyone for money.

You then wrote multiple paragraphs/essays trying to justify yourselves and pay walling content. You got a few bites and then started turning this forum into your personal blog space.

I only insulted those who call the content shitty while asking for it lmao. Do one or the other.

I also "cherrypicked" that comment because I didn't want to reply to four walls of text that are frankly irrelevant. Yeah, it's technically against copyright law. So is all the monetised fanart and doujins. Trying to say doujins are fine because they don't charge much is just idiocy, but I didn't really want to get into that and I still don't.

Idk why you're all so wound up tbh. Invest your time and energy into something more meaningful.:)
