well its also a infrastructure and legal thing, into order to do that contracts are required between the database and creators or else nobody is going to agree to anything, and this get very complicated very quickly. to do that kind of thing you pretty much need to be a corporate entity with a ton of legal infrastructure. and it also starts introducing huge risks like user information privacy, DMCA copyright issues (remember that these people are using other peoples art all the time without permission, and if publishing rights are signed over to the joi database, they are the ones who deal with any and all legal issues), yada yada. its just not realistic for neither the patreon creators or the joi database hosts to do this even if they wanted too
