You can unlock the room with the shotgun by shooting the switch on the other side of the door from the window.
The code for the UMP room is on a nearby poster, pay close attention to the patterns on it.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but. If sexy outfits/sliders are going away next patch... but the game supports mods... then isn't this a non-issue? Can't these things just be added back in with mods as well? Or am I missing something?

There is nothing to worry about, they are not really removing the sexy costumes, just separating them from the retail game. They will be available for free.

In fact if you pause the game and activate the free cam then cancel the pause the camera angle becomes better in the shower scenes

What? The poster has several grids laid out like the keypad, with present icons on the correct spots, and a giant MERRY CHRISTMAS on the top of it. Was it that hard to guess that the presents would be the correct keys?

Yeah, the various zombies do have grab and bite animations.
