Preference is obviously going to be a factor and it is what it is there, but I think one of the actual issues when writing black women is its almost as if they are no different than being written by a woke writer, they are the most bland characters around, as if they're afraid of offending anyone, it's like the opposite of black males where being stereotypes is completely normalized.
Physical appeal aside, Brenda in Demon Deals was a great character, she was a stuck up, it made you want to get back at her.
