The game has full art for chapter 1, but for most scenes after that art is still being worked on (I think the artist just finished making one scene for every character, not sure what they will focus on next).
I would say that after chapter 2 the game is more carefully designed so that you don't accidentally miss things (no vague "timed" events, more explicit directions about things you should look for, second chances to get some things you might have missed), but complex interactions between many obscure variables is always a defining factor of the game.

walkthrough instead, it is condensed to just the instructions of things you should do for an "optimal" playthrough. The main downside is just that the walkthrough can't be 100% certain of what will be truly optimal in the end since the game isn't finished yet.
If you don't like any type of walkthrough, just play the game blind but with the assumption that it is worth your time to be a completionist. There is a snowball effect of OPTIMAL previous results being necessary for OPTIMAL future results, but overall the game is balanced so that the "decent" to "good" results are always achievable without much guessing or psychic planning as long as you are being thorough, the story is overall still pretty satisfying.
