I did a fresh installation and it worked for me. U missed a step, add BepInEx and run the game, close it and add the plugin. Some files have to be generated by BepInEx so maybe the second time u run it, it will works

Yes, I do this step first to add BepInEx and run the game.

Does the plugins folder auto-create? When I ran the game for the first time, the plugins folder wasn't created automatically, so I manually created it.

I think I found the problem,
I only extracted the BepInEx folder, and without the winhttp.dll, doorstop_config.ini.
After being extracted, it works for me.

You either need to make a different choice or level up your traits to max again (if the other choices dont succeed)

Fighting the manor guard alerts the security system and "fails" the overall encounter
