Those of us who know nothing about the show don't come into the game for probably anything other than the family content it is tagged for.
I just want to point out that this isn't entirely true. I also have never seen an episode of The Loud House in my entire life. It aired at a time when I was already done watching cartoons. But I didn't come here specifically for the family content. In fact, I had seen this game over a year ago and didn't give it a chance back then because I thought it was nothing but such content. It wasn't until recently after a specific event that I decided out of curiosity to give it a chance and found out how great the plot and art was.

The fact that there is also a choice to pursue some normalcy as opposed to only being locked strictly to the family not only very much lends itself to the plot in a positive way but also opens up more options for the player and therefore, more replay-ability. So yes, not everyone who is reading this without any prior knowledge to the show came here for the in-house (pun intended) content.

Maybe if the trip to visit her and jump-start her harem were moved a bit earlier in the game it would engage non-show players a bit more with her character?
Meh I think a part of it is the difference between "mando fun" and "actual fun". Not every girl is going to click with everyone and if the player is turning her down every chance they get well then they aren't going to be excited when it's "her turn regardless of previous interactions". If you're a fan of hers, showing interest by picking the positive responses, then getting more exclusive content with her is your reward otherwise it's not that heartwarming and using the show as a crutch doesn't help her in the race against her competition. Now if the player doesn't find her visually appealing then most of this is a moot point as she doesn't have the assets to compete with the more mature girls or too much assets for the lolicons.

My dude, the game literally opens with Lincoln talking about his crush on Ronnie Anne. The entire motivation for Chapter 2 is to make enough money to go and see her.

Maybe you got distracted by all the sister sex... But Chapter 1 and 2 featured Ronnie as the driving motivation for everything Lincoln was doing.

Ronnie was stated as important from the first scene of the game. The entire point of the flashback is to fill in the details of why Lincoln likes her so much.

If she doesn't work for you, that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but please don't gaslight me about the plot I literally wrote.
Gaslight you?? Huh? All I said was that after reading your explanation it made more sense to me (a non show player) that that character might be more important than it seemed to people like me coming into the game blind. Sorry if somehow that offended you. It certainly wasnt meant to.

Totally fair. I didn't mean to speak for you and enayone else and probably should have qualified my statement more than just saying "probably." "Some of us" would have been better, so my apologies.

This is how I feel as well. I like Ronnie Anne as a character and definitely support her as the main love interest based on this game's narrative (I've never watched the show for reference). But, recent updates feel a little railroad-y in terms of forcing me to care about her. This scares me a little if every character gets their own dedicated chapter even if you don't vibe with them.

If there was a little more content with the other characters available to sandwich it, it would probably make Ronnie a little easier to swallow if not just to break up the long stretches of dialogue about her. I initially didn't care about Lucy, but being able to interact with the other sisters got me to keep playing, allowing the writing to slowly get me used to her and eventually winning me over.

"if every character gets their own dedicated chapter even if you don't vibe with them." Have you even played the game? Literally every sister except lily gets a chapter! 1 was lynn 2 was lucy and 3 is lori mixed with ronnie ann. This has always been the case.

The reason you can't interact with the other sisters right now is because your at great lakes city with lori. The interactions should return when Lincolnand lori go back home.

I don't get what you mean by railroad-y, Ronnie Ann was always going to play a big role. Due to her importance in the show as Lincolns first love interest she is going to have focus from time to time in game. So of course the writing is going to get you to like her. It's kinda the point considering your going to have to make a choice between her or the sisters.

Did you happen to see my DM suggesting you check out donorbox.org ? I know of one content provider that was banned from several other crowdfunding sites but had not has an issue there.
Sorry, it was probably during the very heated up days during the bannings and I forgot to respond.
Donorbox.org only works with some banks and Stripe, which doesn't work in Argentina. There ARE some... "third party" ways to go around it, but the % I get at the end of the month is already cropped enough, and adding another one wont help at all.

I mean if you actually read my entire post, you'd see that I literally talked about Lucy in chapter 2. I know it was always the case, and I don't want to discourage DMF or CatSpeaker's direction. I think they are doing a great job so far. I really don't care if Ronnie is the focus for an entire chapter, that's fine, like I said I like her. The only hiccup for me has been that these past couple updates focus A LOT on setting up Ronnie, and nothing else. There hasn't been a great amount of content outside of establishing backstory which is a bit disappointing.

If YOU read my post you would know I did read yours. it literally quotes the post you reply to automatically. so yes I did read the part of your comment on lucy. So maybe pay attention before you say things like that. (edit changed a little bit of the paragraph cause it looked a little ruder than intended)

Yes there is a lot of setting up for Ronnie ann. the backstory is for people who don't know her or need a reason to care about her. Once that flash back ends and Lincoln hangs with ronnie we'll get some lori stuff and once the chapter ends we'll go back to the sisters as it will be Luan's time to shine.

So you don't need to worry about the sisters to much, their time will come.

Downloaded the game a few nights ago and I already fully caught up to where it leaves off. It's been a nice story and honestly has a lot of really cute moments in it. I've appreciated all the effort put into the characters and, even as somebody who never saw more than a couple of episodes of the show, I've been able to get a good understanding of their personalities.

Although I don't really want to open up any old drama I would just like to say that was the whole reason I even found out about this game existing about a week ago. It's great to see things have continued to move forward, and I hope this game continues to create an even more enjoyable story!
