The game at it's core is very good, but bogged down by grindy gameplay that take the fun out of immersion.
The battle mechanic takes too much time and very grindy, due to missing mechanic left from the game:
I do like that although bare minimum, the monster girl you meet have personality and mechanic that differs from another, each of their design also telegraph their weakness is a clear plus
and I really like the game prologue, it's very well done.
Player have agency, the damsel in distress is actually likable and well known by everyone with clear stakes motivating the player in silent hill other world story.

- Player can't sell item, WHY? This make the only way to gain money is by beating Monster Girl
- Each monster has climax scene that can't be skipped. You HAVE to watch it, waiting to play it out by opening new tab would only freeze frame the game and loop the moaning sound, thank god player can fast forward it by holding Action button
- Player has no access to see MC climax gauge outside battle and main menu, so a little slip up would shave HP that guaranteed to happened for every player
