Oh boy. What a week. So I believe I am about 50-66% done??? with the prologue and ch 1 to say that things are going super smoothly for someone who has never coded a day in his life a month ago.
Yeah, that serious.

not. End that thought. This is my dev blog.
I asked for art help on a certain site and it didnt go well. I am broke, I have NO MONEY to put into this. Everything I do is ingenuity, elbow grease and smarts. I was even hoping to trade art for my writing, etc. Unfortunately, I am really green at this whole thing. Made some errors and took the L. But, it showed me I really am alone for this, though I have had some vocal support from friends thats been a shot in the arm.
Technical time: Yeah the art side of this. It's gonna be brutal, friends. I am putting all the lipstick I can on the pigs, but in the end, they are still gonna be pigs. Koitatsu really can only do so much, especially if its unanimated BUT effort was made and is being made. I am not putting out a fuckin' stinker but I am also not gonna have half the debut of Hero's Harem Guild, that's for sure.
Coding is going smooth as you saw above. First choice of what I hope is many was added today. No spoilers. Debating whether I can add name customization this time before my goal of early April. Canon name is LUNA. So when you hear "Luna" I am talking the MC.
I already have a plethora of open source music and sound effects to use. I have music set in my game already. If you read my rough draft, the taser makes a sound in game.
Background art, however, I am not ashamed of. I have touched everything up with Gimp and it looks pretty good, especially my opening background pic. Which, I mildly edited but left it mostly intact. It was too pretty to mess with extensively. I have scoured everywhere for anything not nailed down by a license. A little dirty perhaps, but I am making do on my own trying my best. I want to make something nice.
Final thing to mention, I am in need of playtesters. Yes. I am so far along that I think planning that and asking is a good idea just so I can have that ready. Friends go to the front of the line. All testers will get an exclusive list on Patreon thats the same as my $10 dollar patrons for life. "Azazel" tier.
