Technically speaking, they were given to paying Patreons before proceeding to be leaked by one of said Patreons. Being a decent human, Akabur basically said they were free to use as long as they weren't repackaged/redesigned and sold as is. More or less, at least. So, no, they aren't open resources. They were leaked (a clear infringement) and generously allowed to be used by the creator.
So, yeah, while they're open now, Akabur can retract said rights whenever he likes as he's never officially declared said assets public domain - or under any other license for that matter. Will that happen? Probably not. Can it? Definitely.
I can just about imagine a Russian porn artist trying to sue randos in international courts going over splendidly for all involved

is there a way to change how this looks? because having to scroll 1 1/2 screeens just go past the first pic sucks....or is this really the intended design?

The Dev is apparently trying to change a few things about the UI:
- avatar is now on the Left side
the rest is still all over the place.

Considering it was awful in the last updates, I would say it is a first step, but there's still a long way to go for the game to reach a state that makes you want to actually play it, atm it is still highly unpleasant to try to. (to my personal taste)
But hey, one could say that "yes" it is slightly "better" than it was, because some changes occurred.
(the comments above are only about the visuals, I couldn't force myself to replay the game with the current state of the UI)

Nope. Not you. I really want to play this but I just can’t. I was excited to see in the changelog that the UI was updated, only to find that its just moving the avatar.

Is the avatar system still garbage? last I tried a bunch of outfits didn't have the right sizes for your bust and everything looked funky.

I have a problem. The questionnaire where you can indicate the orientation MC does not appear when you go to school for the first time. At the first start of the game, the questionnaire appeared, but in all subsequent restarts it is no longer there. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Somebody have or can make a guide? I want play all NTR/Cheating content but I don't know hoy to play the game to find it.
