Ren'Py - The Mind Society [v0.6] [Milf Trainer Games]

At first the plot seemed like a "cheap" godlike power to justify the lustful moments, but the author happened to deliver an interesting and mysterious story.

It gave me John Wick vibes in regards to the whole "society"scheme, with interesting anchors in history and all that, but also mixed with an attempt to make it more alive, i.e., there are time transitions similar to actual series episodes that adds alot the flavor.

The models are gorgeous and intense. My only nitpick is that they might feel a little to rushed, i.e., from full cloth to --> instant action --> fully clothed again, but that's it. Worth a try!

The next update is make or break for this one. Everything made before the change of developers in excellent. But there is a drastic change in the game where the new crew took over. It goes from a great game to more of a slide show with barely any text, the UI is gone, no choices can be made, the animations are horrible and only one sound is used for 3 different sex scenes that are crammed in about 5 minutes of gameplay before the current version is over. If you ignore the last part (from entering the photostudio to the end) it is great, but then it falls off a cliff. We'll have to see if the new devs deploy a parachute or crash and burn.

Easily one of my favourite urban-fantasy settings. Great premisse, attention to details. Pace feells right (maybe the most difficult thing in a game). I am very happy to see the developer is updating it again. And curious to find out where the story will go from here.

Art is beautiful, story is nice, and there is enough variation to invite more than one paythrough.

After this last update (there was a long period without any) I found some technical problems. Black window, the images do not enter. Sometimes is even necessary to start again from the last save. If it is not a problem with my computer is something that deserves a look from the developers.

Asside that, it is an excellent game. And an excellent setting.

I would not only like to see the end of this game. I would also love to see more stories in this setting.

TLDR; Outdated, ugly, boring

The visual quality feels like coming back from the past (fun fact: It's indeed from 2020): Ugly by now, lack of details.
And next is the semi-sandbox, always limited to a few options/ locations to choose from (that's a rather GOOD approach for my taste, because I hate sandbox games); still, it feels unnecessary and would have fitted inside a pure VN much better.

The animation quality is horrible (just like the still renders, probably due to the age of this game..again).
The font doesn't fit either (looks like Papyrus from MS Office): It's too thin and hardly readable.

I vaguely remember the game before the takeover and I think it was better back then, but I'm not sure.
The current state of the game is a mess and I can't recommend it to anyone.

Good premise, hot women. Looking forward to the next update. 200 characters, huh? Jenny and miss kimura are especially hot, but they're all pretty sexy. Could use a better explanation of how the powers work.

PROS:

1. Models are not bad looking.
2. General visuals are not bad either, but not exceptional or special in the slightest.
3. Writing is structured and reads well, but spelling is an issue
4. Premise is interesting and there are some intriguing ideas, so thats good, and characters seem to be more than mindless morons.

CONS:

1. General visuals look old and dated, the renders are not clear or smooth or of the higher fidelity we have come to expect today. There are often grainy patches that don't look good.
2. Model textures are not always good or realistic like the MC boss who has stretch marks almost everywhere...doesn't make sense really.
3. Issues with dialogue getting mixed up, a few times the MC and person he is talking to have their dialogue boxes mixed up, clearly a reference issue in the code.
4. Dialogue box can use opacity setting.
5. More general sounds, ambient and lewd would be nice.
6. Animations are not very good, especially towards the end where the MC can convince the model and his boss to have sex with him. Then MC has sex with the model at her home and her mother sees it but the scene is so boring its not even worth having in.
7. Few decent angles during sex scenes is a bit of a let down, but whats worse is that things are pretty vanilla and boring. While this could change as its still early in the MCs development, the VN itself has been in long development...so CON.

FINAL REMARKS, OPINIONS & SUGGESTIONS:

NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer.

• Some models like the MCs boss has stretch marks in places that she should not have, the model looks very attractive and in shape, but the skin is not,e.g she has stretch marks on her inner thighs that doens't make sense and yes sure you can argue having stretch on her ass and tits are normal, its not really for a young attractive woman because she clearly is not old and not overweight...and too many stretch marks just make it unrealistic.
• Too short, while this dev is not the original the content is very little for a game that came out in 2020. The main plot has barely been touched and there are factions that are hinted at but nothing more...
• Some scenes like last ones with MC seducing his boss and the model/girlfriend whatever is just so easily done, as if the most normal thing for his boss to get stripped naked and fucked by him. He didnt even do anything, his model/girlfriend did it all...this is just lazy development IMO and feels rushed and unnatural.

TLDR:

Basically the only good thing in this VN is the story and plot, it has interesting characters and dialogue and that is great. Its sadly screwed over by mediocre visuals, UI and dialogue issues as well as poor animations and lack of sexual variety, kinks and then obviously the visuals compound that issue.

I’m really struggling to rate this game.

The art is good, but the overall gameplay experience feels uninspiring to me. The plot becomes tedious, and the sandbox elements don’t really give the game any significant edge. The choices don’t feel natural either.

I would rate this game 2 to 3 stars. I understand why some people enjoy it, but for players who appreciate a more sophisticated plot and user experience, this isn’t an outstanding title.

I hope the developer can recognize these flaws in the future and improve the story and gameplay—starting from the solid foundation of the art, which is genuinely well done.

Before the latest update made by the new people, it was an okay 4-star game. Well, looking at replies, I can see that even users who worship every second garbage game on this site weren't impressed by the update, and I myself won't sugarcoat my expressions; whoever made this update doesn't deserve nice words anyways.

So, what the heck was that bullshit? Devs call it an update? I was hyped when I saw that long-forgotten, more or less nice game from the past was resurrected from the dead, but oh boy, it would be better for the game to stay abandoned than to get worked on by the new team that made this pathetic 10-minute continuation. Animations is horrible, the writing is very bad, and thanks to that, the characters behavior is seriously degraded, the buildup and natural flow between some characters is completely ruined, and the sex scenes are extremely short, abrupt, and out of nowhere to the level where I was stunned and couldn't understand if this was all just the MC's dream. Every single aspect of the game became not just way worse; it's completely horrible. I was hyped and spent my free evening playing the game from the beginning just to be extremely disappointed at this pathetic continuation. And all of this disappointment fit in a 10-15 update. *Input meme* My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.

Are you guys serious?) How embarrassing. If this update was made by a solo middle schooler, then I could understand, but this? It really isn't worth a penny. I can't even imagine paying even a dollar for this extremely low-quality work. The player is the one who should be paid. 0 faith in the project and devs work. Everyone who complimented this garbage should be ashamed of their extremely low standards and tendency for a naive blind support without reason. So yeah, once again, it was my honest opinion without sugarcoating.

Its not often I give sandboxes above a 1 star but this one isn't bad, its not a full sandbox more heavy free roam

Its fun time waster of an AVN

Pretty good game. Everyone in it has unrealistic proportions but the game is more hentai then 'realism'.
Story is entertaining and over all it snowballs pretty well. Only issue is how the game handles it's choices and it's points system.

THe more points you spend the more you have later, so if you pick certain choices you snowball and have more options and rewards, so basiclly you only want to pick those.

Many good Ideas, to bad that it was abandoned, girls look great, Story is interesting, a lot of potential. Scenes are awesome and very detailed. Would be awesome if someone relaunch the game and finish it. 5 of 5 stars

Completely awful renders even later on. The worst models you have ever seen - every li is so hideous they are uncomfortable to look at and yet some of the most hideous youre forced to use your power and interact with - like your first job.

The proportions are an utter mess like if an alien drew people without ever having seen a human. The tits are disgusting and look like marbles glued to a stick there is also fetishization of black people in every other scene

The writing is strong in parts and weak in others - the parts around the existence of the power and the rules are good, the parts about how human women actually act are terrible

There are minigames and dream sequences (forced fantasies) which are both negatives for any game. However you don't see the womens thoughts which is a positive

Fake free roam and choices - youre not free and dont have a choice. The game is basically kinetic

Don't let the lower quality renders in the beginning fool you, they get better. The main character is funny and likable, his interactions with the rest of the cast feel natural and believable.

The overall pacing is decent too, as well as the storytelling and world building.

This game isn't reinventing the wheel, but still I'm curious where the story is going to go next.

• Attempt at bringing many time periods to the game. Though makes no sense
• A few of the models are ok, if you can overlook the ginormous tits
• Scroll-up reveals are decent

• Holy shit are all women out of proportion
• Terrible story and writing. Nothing makes sense

• Renders are grainy
• Bad, pointless implementation of free-roam

Love the ENF and Mind control premise and so far this game is pulling it off pretty well! The girls are decently diverse and look cute, and there seems to be a growing number of them. The writing is decent, but nothing world shattering as most of it is pretty straight to the point. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because of the point and click/Sandbox elements being a bit cumbersome and rough feeling and the fact that a good amount of the renders and animations are a bit noisy, or grainy if you prefer. Don't let these 2 nitpicks lead you to believe it's bad, that isn't it at all, in fact it's enjoyable and quite hot, it's just for the sake of honest critique.

Very good, and the picture quality is also very good. At the beginning, I can have a colorful yy plot that directly caught my eye. So many big breasts and big buttocks make people want to stop. I hope to get through the novice period and muscle girl as soon as possible, which is really in line with my sexual addiction. I hope that I can add some freedom in the future and players can explore freely.

What a successful beginning. I got hooked onto the story immediately. How sad that it is so short. Certainly I would keep playing until 3 devoted sex slaves would kneel by my feet. Makes me eager to follow the story much longer!

I'm not usually a big fan of games where every character has insanely oversized boobs, but the quality of the renders, the range of characters, and the solid writing has me hooked on this one. Nice slow burn with the mind control, which is the way to do it. Definite shades of Dreams of Desire. Recommended!
