Is there any reason to play last two updates if you disable pregnancy? Can you even progress without it?

Alcahest The storyline usage of the 'reduce her Lust 2' repeatable for Novice Sofia worked, but if you try to use the repeatable link, you get the below screenshot (which I trimmed the left side menu out of).
