Despite the stir it continues to cause, I'm not entirely against AI art. I think it has a purpose to serve. For writers who want a foot in the door to visual mediums, it is an adequate tool. Even in a case like this, where the art has had zero post-creation clean up done on it, its not that bad. For a skilled writer, AI art is a great supporting tool.
That is, supposing, you are a skilled writer. The script for this game reads like an AI wrote it too. Its stilted in the wildest ways, with bizarre phrasing of most sentences. It almost reads like a lazy MTL in how haphazard it is, but I'm lead more to believe that it was actually written by an AI, as it bears several hallmarks of rambling AI speech. This game is a staggering show of laziness and incompetence.
Also, the game is labeled as "complete" as of this review, which is just straight up a lie. "In Progress" signs hang around, and the game ends abruptly after about 20-30 minutes with an "end of current version" message.
I had zero expectations for this and I was still let down.
