Animations and renders are well beyond what you'd normally find in an average game. Animations are incredibly fluid and smooth, albeit a little slow but that's just nitpicking. As for renders, this is one of few where I can say I enjoyed looking at all mentioned renders, even Kenzie, which is saying something since I had yet to see a muscular render before that I actually liked looking at.
The overall story concept is believable and well thought out, to the extent of it being game and not comparing it to reality. Two military buds carrying out an op, something goes wrong, MC finds himself in the presence of essentially a goddess that helps him get back on his feet, MC reconnects with his mate's family, and we see his journey back towards full strength and avenging his friend's death. Everything connects and happens for a reason
Also, while playing through this, I'm finding it very understand how a couple reviewers described the writing and dialogue as being "god awful" and "painful." I hardly believe the banter between the MC and his friend would warrant calling them stunted idiots. That's incredibly normal dialogue. On that note, I also did not find myself to be bogged down by any of the dialogue between the MC or any other character. The longest convos the MC has had were when he first woke up, talking about the meeting with his friend's dad, and the dom/sub scene with Kenzie and none took all that long to get through. There was no excessive explanation
Keep doing what you're doing, Gambino. You got a good one going here
