RPGM - The Nights of Suburra [v0.9.4 Public] [Historia Erotica]

+ Great setting.
+ Very detailed and interesting events.
+ Lots of events.
+ There are cool bad endings.

- Ambiguous graphics.
- Fetishes are not for everyone (dirt, scat, illness, degradation, personally I like only 50%).
- The fast forward button is really missing.

Since the cons are subjective, I can’t lower the rating. Personally, I love this game, but vanilla lovers will definitely not like it.

In Summation:

Overall, I enjoyed Nights of Suburra. I think its decent enough. Oddly satisfying given how vastly the number of fetishes it tries to cover in the game. On that note, if you are a fan of Smegma content, this game has its fair share of those types of themes.

Pros:

+ Beautiful and well-proportioned female model.
+ Nice variety of fetishes to cover a lot of people's sexual fixations.
+ Sex scenes are varied (i.e., not a lot of scenes are repeated unlike other RPGM hentai games), scenes are generally drawn pretty well, and utilize a lot of different lewd poses.

Cons/Areas for Consideration:

- Some of the scat content may not appeal to everyone's tastes. I personally didn't mind it as much, but in certain scenes, there may be an overemphasis of said content which others may find too repulsive. But this is a subjective taste for the individual playing the game.

- This is the biggest quip for me. I think there could be a better emphasis on the sexual corruption of the FMC. It's normally just her getting into one degenerate situation to the next. I know that she is trying to aim on being the "gutter whore" of all of ancient Rome, but I think the game can do better showcasing the build-up to certain events and focus more on strengthening the corruption elements to make the pay-off more satisfying.

Overall, a decent enough game....will continue to check out its progress as new updates release.

brilliant game if you like a wide variety of perversions. I think it pretty much has everything in here. very hardcore most of the time, a number of dodgy spelling errors but the perversions make those acceptable.

A really great adult features scat, bdsm , and exhibitionism. While this game has a lot of disgusting scenes that not everyone like, I personally am a big fan of those stuffs. I really love to see how Queen Messalina is being degraded by plebeian homeless and other ppl. Her fate depends on your choice; maybe she ends up being a personal slave, a toy of the homeless, or a prostitute.

So far as I know, there are no other games on F95 that could be on par with this game. Although it took inspiration from some Japanese Corruption RPGM game, but this game is much more wilder and truly a masterpiece in terms of rough sex.

This game really stands out from other games. I would like to highlight as advantages: Rome (Rome, baby, Rome!), a lot of fetishes (most of them don’t appeal to me, but their presence is a huge plus), large scenes with good dialogues and descriptions.
There are no less disadvantages: controversial drawing, there is no way to quickly skip a scene, the unreality of everything that happens, the “wrong” Rome.
But for me this is a case where the pros significantly outweigh the cons.

It is not often that I rate a game but this game has impressed me for some time, while the content is not for everyone, this game has an astonishing amount of content, I cannot think of a 2nd game with this many scenes and routes you can take.
The game has no combat, no scenes that need to be repeated to farm a stat, but just H scenes, there is zero filler in this game and for that reason I hold it in very high regards

Pros:
-Very low amount of repeating scenes
-An incredible amount of content
-No filler

Cons:
-The art is alright, it's unique and I have grown to like it but there is awkwardness to some images and proportions can be off, I know games with far more appealing art but you can definitely see the developer has improved it through the course of the game.
-The amount of art in one scene, generally most scenes consist of one image with different expressions and different actors/items being introduced to the scene (Eg. you see a woman lying in all fours, a guy appears behind her for insertion and her face changes, the base picture doesn't change except for the face, body fluids, whip marks, etc.

Conclusion: Give it a try, it is a quite fast paced game, and you can get an incredible amount of scenes in a short time, art can be meh at times but the scenarios (if you are into this type of degradation based scenarios) hold up very well, the character's mental progression is definitely there, I have more than 10 hours on a save despite skipping a ton of text and I still have not exhausted the content this game has to offer.

if the preview pics didn't already give it away – this game is quite depraved. Both that and the art style itself are not for everyone, but if your cumbrain desires a high dose of filth, this should be right up your alley.

I'm giving this game a 'terrible' rating, because this is exactly what the dev is trying to achieve. And I don't mean just the childish, scat- oriented, turpistic themes but the execution as well.

It's a bare-bones filthy pics hunting game, which uses an RPGM engine for no particular reason. It could be just as well an html-based presentation. The drawings are bad, which is a fatal mistake if you are trying to artistically seduce the viewer with ugliness. You need to dress up the shit to make it at least theoretically palatable. Shitty, ugly drawings of shit excreted by ugly people simply look like something created by a very very immature person for very very immature people. It's almost school toilet-level depictions of sticks representing dicks, triangles representing vaginas and stars standing in for wrinkled assholes. Once you're old enough to be granted your voting rights, you can't really jerk off to that, regardless of how unusual your sexual cravings might be.

Thus, all of that pornographic charm has to be created by textual content and even in this regard, the game sucks sucks, with walls upon walls of unexciting text, trying too hard to sound historically accurate by using terms like 'thermae' and then failing by using terms like 'hobo' (first recorded in US English in the 1890s) and 'slave' (unknown to ancient Romans, as Slavs and Slav-saturated slave trade was an early Medieval phenomenon, which gave the name for unfree laborers in all modern European languages, except Slavic).

There is no build up to anything - which is the essence of sexual corruption - you just walk from one bonkers encounter to another, with the logic of uncovering the next scene not clear. So you just loiter around the neighbourhood looking for 'trouble' and your choices are simply 'no/not yet' or 'yes/can't wait!'. Nothing new in this genre and its porn logic, but with such an empty, eventless (apart from the sex scenes) environment there is no gameplay at all, no sense of corruptive (or protective, for those porn gamers who love keeping their female protags chaste) achievement, simply listen to the story of how one Roman emperor's wife became a gutter whore of the lowest order, you know, the kind that even the leper's faeces are afraid to approach lest they be soiled and traumatized for life by her sheer presence.

The art is good, nothing else stands out, it doesn't build much sexual tension, it's just straightforward prostitution, tag is missing by the way, even if she's the empress and it's her fantasy, she prostitutes herself.

A waste of good art.

Unique art style, cool plot and setting in less know part of Roman Empire what would you like more? Developer is active, don't ask for too much in discord and is willing to iron any bug found and also improves his style, the game maybe has no fancy visuals but it is for sure original and work of love.

Promising game for those looking for the niche and extreme, but the art is still too crudely made.

Hopefully in a future it gets remade or even would like to see this creator make a text-only game instead.

The comic style 2d graphic of the protagonists is a nice idea. The drawing skills could had been better. The filthy guys are not only somehow disgusting, but also really crappy painted. I give this game 4 stars only because of the idea, setting and atmosphere. The 2d graphic is lesser average at the best...

Open map gameplay suits RPGM, there's plenty of kinky encounters around the map to advance the story (v0.2). Scenes can be verbose with not enough art to justify the number of clicks, and the cartoon style is often more abstract than enticing. Abstraction may be a kindness in a game that glorifies filth, disease and degradation.

This game is about ugly, nasty, literally dirty sex with ugly, nasty, literally dirty men. That's all the game sets out to do, and so far it does it pretty damn well. If you're the kind of freak that browses the [smegma] tag on Gelbooru you'll love this game, if you aren't then you'll most likely hate it. The art is not the best but it's not the worst. Personally I think it has a kind of a charm to it and it isn't all out of place with a game that revolves around nastiness.

Ok first review on this site, only because I saw the rating and was hella confused at first.

This game is very odd...it doesn't take Michelangelo to see that the art is (except for the main character) really bad. The MC is passable, depending on taste. This makes anyone seeing the pictures immediately think "no thats nasty i'll pass,"

This has the same nasty beats as vitamin plus. It has a lot of really degenerate fetishes that, despite being from a different universe, is probably causing the inquisition to find a way to exterminatus this thread. This is what your here for; if you like nasty, literally filthy porn this stuff is gold. The idea of a slutty roman "queen" debasing herself for the sexual thrill is amazing. It's a story about fighting ones urges to be an absolute degenerate and losing horribly, very relatable.

Another important point is the free roam nature of the game, whether it is due to time, laziness, a lack of techinical know how or sheer genius the level is compact and dense, perfect for a porn game. I detest some of the big hentai games in RPG maker that have a massive city with 4 interactable npc's for sex stuff. Keep it compact that's what we want in porn games.

I strongly recommend that you give it a try *must be into so Slanneshy/Roman level degeneracy and look (literally) past some of the pictures, the scenes in of themselves are fantastic.

**A note to the creator, I would be so bold as to say that if you bumped up the male drawings this would be much closer to a 5 star game for what it is. I say male as the Female one is fine, but the dude ones reallly make it hard to enjoy.

I really enjoyed this one.

The pictures aren't really good, and the gameplay is rather dull (you spend more time looking where is the next spot to click than really enjoying the game), but the story pushes most of the correct buttons in a game about degradation, corruption and humilliation. Waiting for the next updates!

This kind of content is reeeealy rare. Yeah, there are a lot of japanese games about degradation. But usually MC is vigrin school girl on the edge of being loli. Yes, some times you play for princess but you wouldn't really fell it, because usual gameplay has no difference of typical adventure party.

The only problem I see is that it looks like the story is gonna be linear like a frozen river. And usually sooner or later game developer makes bad story decision (khm Game of thrones KHM!) after wich you don't really want to continue. Usually it is either blackmail or complete degradation.

Deliciously filthy, no holds bared, non-apologetic, and fabulous for this niche genre. This game dives into humiliation, fetishes for the dirty and the depraved... and does a great job with it. The artwork is well, as it is in the previews. Not the best but I've seen worst, appreciate the effort (especially for an early alpha-demo), and the text and concepts really carries it through

It's a great game if you're looking for submissive, humiliating, very degrading experience for a female protagonist. The writing is okayish, the scenes are very hot if you're into the fetishes I've mentioned, the gameplay loop for a demo is a simple H-event finder - which is completely fine. And I have to say I rather like the artwork, which might not appeal to everyone - I think the roughness of it fits very well within the context of slutty degradation game.

I simply love it, this game fits so well within it's niche and scratches itches I didn't know I have. Looking forward to future updates!
