Is there anywhere a detailed description on how the "barbecue" mechanic works? Sometimes the same character gets different results on the same topic and I don't now why?

0.6b is almost ready, and then hot on its tails 0.7a! I want to preview a bit what's coming in 0.6b, which is going to be mostly a technical, bugfix, and quality-of-life update. here are some of the highlight features:
1) we've made some refinements to the way the sex system works (see below)
2) we've added a low memory mode for Android players suffering crashes. there are a handful of other new options in the character creator/bathroom mirror and game menu, go ahead and check them out!
3) a bunch of interfaces have been updated and optimized for a smoother experience
4) for modders: I've refactored how Events, Quests, Items, and Clothes are registered to be a lot more renpythonic and robust to additions. the tldr is that you can now add new things directly to the relevant defined dictionary, eg.
define all_Events["new_Quest_string"] = {dict containing relevant quest info}
I'll be happy to chat with anyone about how to do this, if you're already familiar with registering new game objects then it will be as simple as turning your register function into a dictionary with mostly the same entries as your original function arguments
Sex System Update:
a) we're trying to make foreplay/unlocking actions more rewarding and intuitive without the element of "fuck around and find out" that the old system had
- actions are greyed out until you have the required stats
- foreplay is now more explicit - you have to raise a character's "global" arousal as well as their arousal associated with specific body parts to unlock each action. actions that can be unlocked this way are not selectable but have orange text and "fill" as they become unlocked. once global arousal has reached 100%, the character's orgasm meter starts to increase, with the character climaxing when it reaches 100%
b) restrictions on NPC orgasms are lifted
c) you now only have to click through dialogue when the character is first accepting an action or a narration is intentionally multi-parted, reducing the amount of clicking overall by a lot. action narrations and character reactions happen in realtime and are displayed without interrupting the rest of the menu. hopefully no more skipping/rapid clicking through flavor text, letting you enjoy it more as part of the scene
d) an explicit "can we do this" inquiry only happens twice: the very first time something is done and the very second time it's done (changed to a "wanna do that again?" line). after that, it is assumed that the character is okay with the action (unless your approval dips below the action's threshold)
e) autoprogress should now work correctly and without jank

Oh man, this is actually great, the thing with the arousal being 0 to 100% made it so that you couldnt time well your foreplayto dicking timing, now you can warm them up without messing with their O meter.

Nah. I kept saying that in reference to polygamy because of how easy it was to unintentionally cheat on one girl or another. The whole "Can we do this?" thing didn't bother me much.
Consent Simulator ends when the team adds a talk option for regular/platonic conversations, and is less stringent about which current 'flirt' options actually count as trying to add another girl to the relationship.
Hmmm, I now can't help but wonder if one of Kitty's kinks is dirty talk. Surpress it, and you get Kitty from X-men: Evolution. If over-indulged she just slips into being a foulmouthed little brat. (Could even use wingdings to avoid filling the game with hatespeech. Would hope she'd get off on getting spanked any time she calls someone/Null something derogatory, because she WILL be getting disciplined.

Misspelled conquest.
The best version of Emma is bimbo on the outside and vicious bitch who wants to be lovingly broken on the inside. Making her an antagonist is a good decision if it's to make her a brat Null will correct with his dick. Also, I know it's not gonna happen but it would be great if she was virgin, haughty spoiled rich girls who pretend to be experienced but aren't is great boner fuel.
Gonna make for the some interesting conversations with Jean at the very least.

Well male villains are a thing so no they don't.
There are plans for Emma and if we're gonna write a story for her she's gonna fill one of the 3 per chapter slots.
Now unlike Storm, Emma will be making more substantial appearances in Chapter 2.
Will any of those appearances be sexual?
There are two other significant villains other than Emma related to the storyline and we will likely be including them.
Oh the writers are already getting warmed up for when Dazzler pops in.
Movie nights are planned.
Most people with plans have listened to our advice to wait until the 1.0 release as that's when all the under the hood systems we've been doing in the 0.X releases should be fully implemented for modders to go nuts with.
Code monkeys like Kirby can attest that we do add new things to toy with every time we go up a number.
Sadly the meme will die eventually.
(I've already mentioned gifting non expensive/sexual clothes as platonic to the dev team)
Dude I know you've said multiple times that you don't know much about Emma but this has to be one of the strangest ones.
There are other girls like this in canon and we will be taking full advantage of such potential.

Yeah, like I said, I know it's unlikely but it would be nice... We are pretty early in the canon given some the story events the characters mention so depending on the run this story is based off of this may be before hellfire.
Personally I would have liked to see the timeline from the 90's show but I get why making them highschool age would be a problem given patreon rules.

Saying hi to Colossus in the hall, walking in on Iceman making ice-cream in the kitchen, meeting Stan Lee at the comic shop, seeing Logan give you the stink eye when walking around with Laura would all be a nice touches.
I get that it's a dating sex game but having a few bro moments peppered in would add to the immersion; I actually liked the bit where you and Kurt go to get comic books.

Alright, I'm pretty dumb and I wasn't paying attention to where the naming option was for my character at the start. Is there anywway I can go into files or some setting to change it, or am I just screwed? I'm decently into a save because I thought there was no option to fix it and it was permanent default name.
