now that i have the answers i wanted i can ask this, does the mc's negating powers have a limit, and where is that limit?
because when 2 mutants hook up the child will always be a mutant too. with that the child will have a chance at 4 options,
1st- they get their own set of powers.
2nd- they inherit the mother's powers.
3rd-they inherit the father's power.
or last - the get both parent's powers.
so my question is = with the mc's powers to negate others, would there still be a chance for the child to get the mother's powers/or both mc's & mother's power. or would they only be able get their own powers, or inheriting mc's powers or does it affect his sperm too and the child ends up human?, where is the mc's negating limit, is before conception after conception, during conception?
We don't have all the answers. We do know that Null only affects mutant powers, Juggernaut (who has magic powers) is unaffected if you are stupid enough to try and use your power on him. So it would appear to only affect the X Gene, so depending on the power a super powered individual has would depend on whether Null could affect them or not, if someone was changed by an accident, but that change effectively made an edit to their DNA which was basically the same as the X Gene, then I would imagine that their power could be negated even though technically they are not a mutant, but if there power comes about from something different, I suspect it wouldn't work.
When it comes to heritability, I guess it is like most things in genetics, you might get lucky and get all the powers, or one or none. You may carry the mutant gene but it not be active, so that your kids or your grand kids could get powers even though you never did.
Wolverine already has a healing factor which is basically off the charts, however having his skeleton plated with adamantium significantly reduces his healing factor and is slowly poisoning him, which is why (from my understanding) he eventually gets old and dies. If Wolverine were to have a child with someone else with a powerful healing factor, and they inherited both healing factors, I suspect it would barely be noticable, unless they too had their Skeleton plated, in which case the boost might be great enough to overcome the negative effects of the poisoning, or at least be much slower than Wolverine. Essentially as is the case with all comics, whatever the writer needs to happen happens.
