Make custom versions of the disabled outfits you like but don't have date tagged. Tedious but that's the only way I know of.
There should only be like 2-3 outfits tagged for date anyway though.

For people who like screens:
I turned off the "date night" outfits and the "formal" outfits. Then I made a custom outfit for that dress and flagged it for what I said above. Actually I also flagged sexy. Again probably not important.

Yeah I tried too with the same result. The clothing changer has always been hit or miss and held together by duct tape. It relies on a lot of systems.

So I have noticed drastic fps fluctuations with the game. Every other renpy game for me stays at a stable 60fps.
( Ryzen 9 5950X, Nvidia 4090 ,The Null Hypothes is 0.8b1)


I've noticed if I'm not doing anything in a room with nobody it will drop to 5fps with the occasional jump to 10-12fps every couple seconds. If I move my mouse over the options on the left it will slowly get up to 60fps but keep dropping to like 40fps. If I move the cursor quickly over them up and down it will stay at a stable 60fps.

Tried every option in the settings and they had no effect.

It seem to have the effect of dropping FPS if it's not processing anything, which is probably what is causing the stuttering I run into all the time as it ramps up fps when hovering over UI elements but drops immediately after.

How is it that so many people are having performance issues? I have a Ryzen around the same gen and a 1080ti and I have had zero issues.

It's apparently the Renpy engine power saving. It is turned ON by default for game? Turning it OFF keeps fps at 60. or tries I think there is a lot of checks going on in the game.

Dang, that Powersave setting actually seems to be the culprit for me too:


Press Shift key when running a Renpy game to access the menu where to turn this option off.

I'll turn the Powersave On for the next time to further investigate this as Renpy has only a good intention by saving energy/heat when there is no change to the image:
"This determines how often Ren'Py will redraw an unchanging screen. If True, Ren'Py will only draw the screen 5 times a second. If False, it will always draw at the full framerate possible."

Renpy engine was recently updated to 8.4.0 which improves performance:

Maybe this will additional help if upgraded for TNH as well.

I think a lot of the clipping issues is that not all the clothing physics is setup yet. I re-read the roadmap and finishing off the clothing physics is on the list for next patch.

I noticed when I loaded a save after reading it how it looked like the breasts did a little physics jiggle for the bra layer but did nothing for the Green lined top so it might be one of the clothing items not setup yet.

Yeah I have that randomly happening now and then, exact same issuie. It's intermittent which is the hardest bugs to problem solve. I haven't found any consistent steps to recreate it yet.

EDIT: Some times having 2 to 3 love interests on the screen and my fps is at 60, other times I have 2 of them and my fps tanks to 5-10. I haven't checked if it's clothing related yet.

URM also causing layers flickiring, if you are using it. Double so if you have notifications enabled, thought good enough rag can greatly reduce how often then happen.

Since certain questions keep being asked again and again i thought i should make a post that can help clarify certain things about the game that may confuse new and even some existing players

Gameplay FAQ​

1. Why are the girls not having sex with Null ?
Sexual activities are unlocked mainly through the trust stat , acquire enough trust with the girl to be able to perform more lewd acts with them during the mini game , keep in mind that before you can have sex they must approch you and say that they are ready

2. Why is she mad at me ?
Most likely cause you decided to flirt with another girl while actively being in a relationship with one already , showing any kind of intimacy to another girl in public besides the one you are currently seeing will immediately mark you as a cheater and the girls as rivals , if you want to show some intimacy ( mostly hugs and flirting ) to another girl just do it at night by visiting the girls room , i did this with Jean while seeing Rogue , to be extra safe lock the door

Side not : Flirting with multiple girls at the same time is possible as long as you have not entered an official relationship , they don't seem to get mad during that time but after making it official things change and she starts keeping an eye on you like a damn hawk

3. How do i get the girls to like each other ?
By performing activities with each other their friendship levels gradually increase. These include training and studying together , hanging out at the mall , watching movies together in their rooms , sunbathing and hanging out together at the pool ( this activity seemed to increase the friendship levels the fastest for me )

4. How can i date multiple girls simultaneously
You can start dating another girl even if you are already seeing someone by first making them friends (see point 3 ) , after that you need to approach your current girlfriend and tell her that you are also interested in seeing another girl , if the girl you are interested in is already friends with your gf then she will give you her permission to start seeing the other girl , just repeat this process for all the girls that you wanna pursue , remember to always ask first and you should be able to avoid unnecessary drama between them

These four particular topics seem to be the most common on the thread other than technical issues being faced by certain players and folks far smarter than me can help with those , i hope my post can serve as a future reference to players new to the game or for those who might be confused regarding these mechanics

my issuie with Kurt explaining everything is that I try not to skip over his dialogue but I think it's because apparently I read really fast that the way his dialogue is written causes me to have to slow down to let my brain register what it is trying to say. Even tho it only takes a second it still off putting to me enough to not want to read his dialogue most times.

EDIT: like the speed I read I'm a couple words past his "accent word" and have to backtrack as my brain picks up that it didn't make sense later. If that makes sense.
