This is a pretty short 1 or 2 hour game that has fun kingdom managment mechanics that are pretty simple and basic, but it doesnt get boring or repetitive due to how short the game is. The story, characters and gameplay are done well, although nothing exceptional. One thing that does bring down my rating is the art, it looks AI generated. Which if you know anything about AI art, is the fact that it looks pretty, but its pretty shallow in its artistic depth. Overall its a good game for what it is.

To put it simply, the gameplay is interesting and the narrative decent, but it's a porn game and the scenes are kinda lacking IMO. I don't particularly care for the art style and the scenes present aren't that interesting, on either the dom or sub routes.

This game knows what it is and does what it wants to do well.

The gameplay isn't too difficult. It's meaningfully complex. Obviously not AAA strategy, but enough. It rewards the player for playing well.

The only downside is the dom route is kinda stupid. No self respecting princess would let you fuck her mouth. Her royal pride and as a woman needs more...tenderizing.

A very short political management sim that is a nice change of pace, but lacks the length and depth to be truly compelling.

Adult games tend to struggle to implement meaningful gameplay systems while telling a compelling story that immerses you in the character relationships and setting. Princess of Mekana is a breath of fresh air in the genre, with political management gameplay that nudges you to think like a ruler and consider both policy goals as well as political consequences. The gameplay isn't without its faults; policy is complicated, and many of the outcomes feel arbitrary and insufficiently nuanced. Due in part to the short length of the game (~2-5hrs), the gameplay ends up feeling more like crisis management than thoughtful policy making that builds over time and makes you feel invested. The story gives a brief glimpse into the world of political intrigue, but is too short and underdeveloped to truly satisfy.

The sex scenes feel like an afterthought. They're there, but like the story and gameplay there's insufficient buildup to make them feel meaningful.

Overall the finished product feels like a demo, a proof-of-concept for a more ambitious project. The developer would do well to narrow the focus (fewer starting conditions) and generate a polished, full-length experience with a tighter link between story, setting, and gameplay.

good game man really loved it but the animation is old but its a nice game it would be nice if there is more games like this story is nice u should have added more events as the story felt short it would have been nice if the characters was able to move but really loved it

I played 3 of the 6 routes in the demo and I like what I am seeing.

Art: Art is well done and the artist doesn´t have a weak body part. Good choice!

Tec: The Ui is clean and logical no unnecessary stuff, great. The game works well, but there are 2 minor bugs reported, ok for a demo.

Story: Good writing the game creates a nice atmosphere that makes you feel the scheming court. The only thing I don´t like about the game is how fast the relationship with the princess evolves. Especially the confession scene feels way to strong on both paths to me.
On the vengeance path the servant is way to aggressive and demands the princess serves him with her body. This could easily lead to him being beheaded (like 2/3 of the secret service) or replaced with the second best servant. Furthermore the corruption looses much of the tension since it is now sure the servant will get the princess it is just a question of time. I feel like he should demand just a small gesture to show he is more than a tool to the princess and escalate in later scenes after fortified his position more.
The devoted servant goes into a full masochist chant that would seem repulsive to a normal person. He should just stop at "being in your presence is enough for me." Again how will the relationship progress after that? He can´t sink any lower.
But I know that others aren´t as much into slow corruption and relationships as me and if you feel you have to show them something explicit in the demo to keep their attention go for it.
