If you have a VR headset and use this site, you've probably tried a VR porn game. It's a niche market for sure, and there's rarely good content. We get a few high quality ones, like Heat (if you're into that sort of thing ;3).
But that isn't the issue. My issue isn't quality, it's not graphics, and it isn't how loud my fans are when I launch one of the games.
The issue are the controls. Almost every single NSFW VR game requires two hands with controllers. The fuck am I supposed to do? I can't even jack off! If I put down the controller, I can no longer move, or the hand will still be there and knock things over. Why don't any of these games have an option to disable a hand, or just have all the controls on one controller?
Hand tracking is very useful for this. There are only a couple games that do it, but they do it in a way that I can actually have fun while playing. Of course, hand tracking is always pretty scuffed, and limits a lot of things, but at least I can actually do more than just watch.
It's gotten absurd at this point. I'm thinking of just taping a fleshlight to the ring on my Quest 2 controller and using that.
