The reason for playing games?

Control. I would guess that people play these due to the control aspect that you don't get on a porn site.

If you are talking about control as in the ability to control yours and or manipulating other characters that would be part of game-play.

If you are talking about control in selection of content most porn sites let you choose the content type you want to see and narrow that down further with search and selection methods.

I think clicking through 37 videos on pornhub trying to get just the right video doesn't count as much towards control as you think it does.

And I was talking more along the lines that some games let you choose not only who you get scenes with, but how. Nice or dominant, straight forward or devious, etc. They allow more control than videos. Sure, there are videos for just about everything, but you don't get choices within those videos. If there's a video with 3 women you don't get to choose, you just get what the video portrays.

If you are clicking through 37 videos to find one you like you are doing it wrong!
spankbang, eporner, porndig all have decent search systems you can use to find videos you like, you select by topic, star, length, when it was posted and more.

Pornhub purged millions of videos after complaints were made about ********** potentially being on the site. Supposedly they made changes to appease the credit card companies. However, the same complaints by those companies aren't effecting The 3 sites I listed above. Pornhub should not have given in so easy. They purged videos regularly. They had a reporting system and even did their own checks. They went over board in trying to appease people or look good publicly.
The stupid part is they still have videos in the data base but you can't access them. They are waiting for the people who posted the videos to log in and then post their credentials to release the video. People in those companies aren't interested in putting their information in the sites hands. Some may have posted videos legally as a third party and they still could release the video.
There is a conflict between US, EU, and Japanese laws that causes issues.

I suspect they are hemeriging money with all the servers they are paying to keep running but aren't making money off of.

I'm guessing you realized that wasn't the greatest rebuttal to my comment so figured you better add to it.

Well I guess I cane address the part you added when you edited the post.

Be it a porn game or a video you are limited to the content the producer makes available unless you modify it.
You can't do anything and everything to every character in a game your actions are limited to what the game developer provides.

While a single video has limited content most porn stars have starred in more than one film and type of scene so it isn't hard to find in most cases one with a star doing what you want. Of course there are cases were a star is won't do various scenes.

That said with a game you are limited to that game and whatever mods exist for it. That in its own way is more limiting.

The point is you have similar limitation between both media types.

Reason for playing games?
Boredom really and a way of keeping sane during the lockdowns. I always enjoyed video games but just never had the amount of free time over the last year.
As for the games on here, I only play a few like Bright Past, Bitch Squad and Panacea.

Honestly, was just being snarky originally, but changed my mind and decided that I would give a real answer.
