A: Yes, the models used are majority made only with geometry and subsdivision surface modifier (not even bevels in majority of places that should have bevels). I can and i already plan to introduce Multires Modifier and other things, which would allow me to create better textures and more detailed characters and objects but unfortunatelly my hardware cant handle well things like particles, simulations, too many vertices, so i had to adapt. I do have the skill tho, it just dont make sense to wait 40 minutes more to render 1 image if the program dont close before it finishes... that wont work either for me or u!
It's the morphing and anatomy. I've said it before for another game, but they look like aliens trying and failing to mimic humans.

As I said in many places this is like a proof of concept version, ALL is subject to change. My goal with this version is to receive enough criticism to do better things. I did fix somethings already (mainly some "weird" movement on the pose creation) after the release but i cant do much for this graphical level of art with my actual hardware (i can't use simulations for animation, renders take a lot to finish, denoise makes things blurry and uglier, etc) and one thing i'm not good is texturing mapping so it could be one of the main causes for "weird" characters lol.
have you tried using daz ( a free software) to build the characters and then transfer them to blender using either the official daz to blender addon or the diffeomorphic addon? ( both addons are free ).
there are plenty of tutorials on youtube to make your life a lot easier and have some extremely good looking models. I personaly dont have a problem with your models but if you would like to take it a step further there is this free solution.

Hello mate, thanks for the suggestion and feedback. I did once try DAZ but idk if i didnt had enough knowledge at that time to learn it or if i just watched the wrong videos. I had some problems too with something on it but i dont remember what specifically. I didnt know about the addons, I'll take a look on it right away! Honestly, im limited on the hardware part (4k textures for skin and etc are a totally no no for example, 2k already takes a lot of memory and i have 4 gb VRAM =/)... And i didnt want to just make another story with same characters style as others, i really want to create original content but for it to be really good it takes time, effort, knowledge and tools. Im missing the tools and i could use more knowledge, always! XD

But in any case, im already looking into a more "artistic" style that will allow me to use animations (thats the main reason for me looking for it) for example and probably make my project more original and faster updates. I understand that it might not be for everyone (just like you dont have a problem with the characters as they are but others do) but like i said before, I have to adapt at the moment. When I reach a point where I have the tools, that is when i can do anything and only my will would stop me lol

Again, thanks a lot for the feedback!
