Any rough timeframe for when you'll be expanding the sissy slut training content?

I'm hoping to add more content to the Fem/Sissy Trainer some time over the next few builds. The last couple of builds have been very slow, so I'm working hard to make sure these upcoming ones have far less time in-between them.

My current schedule for dev builds is;

0.5.27 - (Current Dev) Finish off school bimbo and sex addiction interrupts.
0.6.1 - New avatar image system, right sidebar, and hunger/thirst system.
0.6.2 - Fem/Sissy tasks and rules system.

The Fem/Sissy Trainer content is one of my priorities, especially as it needs a bit of attention. Hopefully I should be trying to sneak in a new scene for the actual narrative paths every build or two until that core content for it is done.

As for the above-mentioned tasks and rules system. The plan for this is that after getting mid-way through the 2nd tier of Trainer content, the player will start to have Trainer visits where they are either given new rules to live by, or tasks to do. Doing the task will receive a benefit (money, item, rule change/removal opportunity, lower punishment level), breaking the rule or failing the task will gain a punishment. Get too many punishments and you'll get a Fem/Sissy themed 'Bad End' (probably from a selection of them).

The plan for rules is that the player will slowly accumulate these (or take them on for an instant reward), making it so that the player has restrictions on what they can wear (only feminine underwear, only bimbo outfits, etc.), or requirements of what they need to do (must visit dance class once every 3 days, must work at the glory-hole once a week, etc.), or conversely bans on certain things (no muscle-training exercises, can't wear masculine clothing, etc.). These rules will be set-up so they don't clash between Trainers, or alternatively that they may morph into something both Trainers are happy with.

These rules and tasks will be viewable from relevant sections in the player's quest log pop-out page (these were added in the current premium build). The applicable daily tasks will also appear in the right sidebar which is being added (it'll be stowable like the left one in case anyone is worrying). This should help all this information not slip by the player hopefully

TLDR, more Fem/Sissy Trainer scenes soon, major new mechanics for it coming soon too.

As an aside, I have a particular interest in chastity content. So any updates to flair/consequences related to being in chastity would be much appreciated if it ever crosses your mind as a side project while working on future updates. Don't make it a huge priority on my behalf though.

On the matter of chastity content, I have plans, though nothing that I have a concrete schedule for yet.

The Fem/Sissy Trainer content is going to get more chastity content eventually, likely attached to the tasks/rules system (especially the rewards/punishments related to it). I've made notes to have orgasm rewards where they player is either removed from chastity for it (if they're in chastity), or made to orgasm in chastity. I also have plans for chastity integration with the planned punishment system overhaul.

The bigger planned area of chastity content is related to Mistress Sarah who runs the brothel, however, I won't be touching that until I work on the brothel job rework.

Additionally, I do want to add chastity devices to the in-work avatar image system rework.

I've sadly never heard of Earn Your Freedom, but it looks fun, might have to check it out. As for ideas, I find a lot of influences slowly trickle in, so you never know.

Yea, there are definitely hurdles. And the current situation in regards to NSFW games and payment service providers does not make it easier. If you find a way, just know that at least one person would buy it on the spot. I am eager to support cool projects. I just don't do subscriptions, and I don't settle for second class treatment.

All that said, I absolutely understand why developers prefer to only give access to latest version on Patreon. It is an inherently unethical model, that can only exist in an underserved niche with no meaningful competition, and it undoubtedly pays a whole lot better than following conventional business ethics. It's not that I don't respect the hustle. There's a sucker born every minute, and I don't see a problem with relieving them of their money

I checked if I had any saves before installing(which I did), but I didn't try to save them to the disk, and now I have to do everything all over again, which is especially irritating, since my char was quite advanced in the last save, and trying to recreate it..... well, it makes one lose any willingness to play.

Doing my best, and will continue to search for alternative methods to deliver the game to people.

Subscription models have always been a bit of a problem for me, as back long ago I used to take up writing commissions for the game and only having the option of subscription slots was a nightmare. Would love to have a good payment processing method for one-time donations/purchases/commissions.

As for it being an unethical model, I don't know if I fully agree. Partly I see it as a patronage system (or regular donation), where people are paying me to write and create, and less about the direct production of a singular product (though I can see why some would consider it a rather over-expensive game pricing model too). It's why I don't particularly like paywalling content, and the premium rewards are all sneak-peaks, polls, and developer talk.

Sadly, it seems that the forced engine update I experienced earlier in the year to the game engine has caused the previous save files to be incompatible with the newer ones. I didn't know this until recently, and there doesn't seem to be a solution other than restarting a new save (though new saves should be compatible going forwards). It appears that this has been caused by the save system being overhauled entirely.

The forced engine update, and all the trouble it has caused to the project has been a major contributor of stress over the last half a year.

I'm glad I managed to make it clear that none of this was intended as a personal attack of any kind. The unethical aspect is not the subscription model itself, but the absence of obligation connected to it. With no legally binding contract, it strongly incentivises the artist to delay the project as long as at all possible, in order to preserve their revenue stream. As opposed to a one-time payment practice that encourages the artist to finish their project with speed and quality, so they will (hopefully) grow their sales for the next project. When combined with an absence of alternate purchase options, the former creates a situation where the line between legitimate business and a scam is entirely invisible. Which harms the developers with good intentions, because they are inevitably lumped in with the scams.

Mind you, I very much get the impression that you have the best intentions. I don't question your personal ethics in any way.

It could be a cultural thing. American English we almost always put the end of the sentence (. or ? or !) inside the Quotes. However, British English lets you put them outside the Quotes - and as always there are exceptions to both.

Maybe the Developer will let us know why they do it - we might be surprised! :>)

No worries, it was a nice conversation about the business model, and I never took it as any kind of personal attack. Know that people are quite passionate about this, understandably so, and it's nice to give it some extra thought

As mentioned previously, I'll do my best to keep an eye out for one-time purchase/donation options on the project, and will give Itch.io a second look early in the new year to see if I can at the very least get a public version of the game over on the site.

I'd like to say that it's because I'm English, not American, and so I use the punctuation standardisations of British English. However, I didn't actually out-right know that there was a difference between American-English and British-English in these regards, and have always done it because it just felt weird to do it the opposite way around.

Sentences end with periods, so having them placed before the ending speech mark just feels not right to me when I'm writing (not that it isn't fine the other way around).

At the moment if you decline Baylee's offer to live together, there are no negative consequences. There isn't currently any alternative way to get Baylee as a roommate than accepting her during the first conversation, so you miss out on that.

The school and Baylee content is still something that's in-progress, but she has some fun content and is getting more on a somewhat regular schedule

That's fair. They keep falling through the cracks of the scheduling, especially with the health problem related delays of this year and the last one. Hopefully when I get the big to-do list items cleared in a few builds I'll be able to re-evaluate their place in the schedule.

On a brighter note, not only are they something I certainly want to get to, I already have about half the character artwork for the bunny-girl club employee's. Which is to say, I'm already committed to get around to them

in no way trying to sound complaining, just with the cat cafe constantly attacking the bunny girls but never actually seeing the competition gets weird lol
