VN - Ren'Py - The Shrink R&R [Season 2 v3.2] [OneManVN]

I know this game wants to be humorous but a lot of the scenes come across as cringe instead. Like Hodor at the bakery, and Aiko's constant bitchiness. The cringe extends to the mc, who finally decides after 23 years of being a deadbeat to casually sexually harass his sisters, and they'll be okay with that to fit the plot. Speaking of the plot, obviously the game isn't meant to be taken seriously so it's hard to critique it. But there's also poor attention to detail, like the bakery scene: the windows indicate night, even though we know it's daytime. Or the scene outside the police station, Leliana and Aiko are seen walking to Markus, in the MIDDLE of their conversation with him.

The reason this game isn't 1 star is because I've seen worse. When the dev doesn't take the game seriously, neither should we. I think the in-game music alone will tell you that.

I like the models in this game, but the name seems unfortunate--I thought this was about some kind of perv psychiatrist, so I didn't really even look at it. Somehow, the pictures caught my eye or something, and I finally found out what the story is. It's pretty enjoyable, though it seems to have some growing pains, and the writing feels a bit constrained by adhering too closely to conventional tropes.

Characters have exaggerated proportions (have these people ever met a real woman?) and no back-story other than being horny or being being some obvious stereotype you have seen hundreds of times. Renders are not good either, they are too overexposed, making the game look very flat. Hair colors and clothing colors need a lot of work, they are too saturated, making the former look like wigs. There is also no build-up, either in character relationships or in the way events unfold. Everyone is horny almost immediately, and everything happens suddenly.

Then there is the terrible story, and the cringe-worthy humor that seems straight out of reddit ("non-white people bad, white people good"). Not a fan of these mediocre games that try to insert their shitty worldviews and try to pass them as humor. Repeating the mainstream opinion of your propagandized demographic is not funny, is not witty, is not creative. Join the queue NPC. At least Russian games don't try to pretend they are anything more than porn games, so they abstain from cringe-worthy humor seeking to force the author's political opinions onto the player.

The mediocrity of the game is summed up by how creepy and uninteresting the main character is.

Love this game and the storyline so far, the characters are all beautiful and really well done. Great that we as a player are given important choices on what paths we wish to choose and on how we progress in the story! Look forward to see how the game progresses and will be eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Great graphics, pretty models, favorite tags, especially (anal, futa / trans, male domination). There is a choice, although I prefer dom over sub.
Of course I had to leave a rating. I hope the project will develop.

I reallylike the SHRINK so far... the graphics are good (i think the animations could be a little better, more complex). The story promises much. The characters are fun and go well with the dom/sub/love choices. Looking forward to the next update. Thanks!

Excellent story so far. I just stumbled upon this one today. So, here's my thoughts. The models are amazing, the story is actually well thought out, and the plot is kinda interesting. Lots of interesting choices to be made. I look forward to following this one further. Keep up the good work

The game looks absolutely gorgeous! It's only version 0.2 yet you can see the potential of this VN. The models are beatiful and based on your choices each character can have a completely different personality. There are some dickgirls (guys with tits, not futa) but for anyone that dislike them they are completely skippable so no big deal. The thing that gives me more hope is the story: the foundations seems to be solid and the writing is very good, funny and very enjoyable.

love it so far, can't wait for more, the content is right up my alley, and if i had the spare cash i would totally give it to the dev for what work theyve already done, let alone a full game, dont get too many games this quality anymore keep it up please! its great.

Game looks beautiful, this cannot be stated enough. Colors are sharp, models have been tweaked too, not just copy pasted stock models and tada done! Oh and you didn't use Max, so big points there. Characters actually change their clothing, I know, I know, holy shit who is this radical dev?

MC is an oddball but his antics aren't harmful to watch, like I don't go away feeling stupider having witnessed a scene unfold, like some other games. Each character has a personality, sure they are along some trope lines, but it's played up in such a way that it hits that mark of good satire.

My only concern is there sure are a lot of dicks in this game. Literally every chick introduced after the core characters has a penis. You can argue the lab experiments, or the infected chick in the bathroom have no dicks, but come on, they don't even have a names, so they don't count. Could be paving the way for sharing/ntr later or sissification, I mean the eldest sister already pissed on the MC so who knows?

All around solid game, great visuals, music isn't jarring and fits the scenes, characters look beautiful and aren't boring one dimensional fuckbot npcs, story and dialogue are funny, smart and engaging.

10/10 would recommend again

Solid start! Absolutely love the different options given. I especially like the Melissa story line. Go Blurple!

The pacing is solid too switching between exposition and fun sexy times. I am really wondering about how some of the characters fates are from the first scene.

One complaint I sometimes have with games is the lack of combination of girls, such as threesome or even orgy type style, it looks like some content will be locked off by choices for multiple play troughs and that usually means you only get one main girl and maybe some side pieces but not together. Will have to wait and see.

5/5 for the art, the girls look realistic and beautiful.

Edit after old reviews. Dislike the story and the way characters act. Not really satisfying in any way for me. There's just no logic in anyone's interactions and the mc is insufferable.

While the game is not for me, I still can respect the drive to keep with a project over these years. Good luck with further development.

despite being at it's very first steps of being developed the game brings good enough content to shows how is it gonna be in future, which i think will be great if he continues goin the way he have already taken.

family models are really good actually a little too good, every character is in-shape which takes away the feelin of a realistic game
those legs are... u know... spent a lot of time in the gym, bodies are very fit and a lil bit muscular. I'm not sayin i don't like it, it's just could have been better imho.

renders are so good, story goes on very smooth and is attractive, no need to grind stat or relationships (for now),good English, BGM is simple but good enough to give a better experience.
everything about this game is great except one.

I would give a 5/5 to this but something bothers me in the story and it's being in a town that there is not a single available guy for such beautiful girls, or girls for MC to be virgin till this age.

This game looks very promising so far and seems to have a lot of potential. The story is very interesting and got me hooked immediately. There's futa content but if you're not into that kinda stuff, there's an option to turn it off. Not a lot of sexual content yet but I'm interested to see how the story unfolds.

Conclusion:
For a Version [v0.1] it is Pretty good, Mom looks hot and nice looking Sisters running around.
Even though this is version 0.1 the game was pretty long and I liked the Futa scene also.
Hope the Dev will continue with the Game,seems promising.

Lets see what the future holds here.
