Here's the actual rule in regards to the Abandoned prefix so that you're better informed.
- Abandoned: used in the following cases:
- The developer states that the development has been permanently suspended.
- After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).
- No game update has been released for an abnormally long period of time (>18 months).
- Game threads that are marked On-hold for over 6 months with no game update.
- Note: this prefix is only removed upon the release of a new update for purchase/download.

A little bit sad, I expect so much because the storyline is promising, the FMC is great, and the art style is gorgeous. But sigh, it's getting abandoned. I don't know what the devs excuse is, but I'm still not losing hope that someday the devs are going to get back to complete this game.

It is legitimate to have RL problems. But you can also take 3 minutes (which everyone has every day, sitting on the loo while shitting!) to contact the supporters and tell them what's wrong. Instead, nothing for months until you see that the game is “abandoned” here. And then suddenly it works with the report, what a miracle!

About a year ago, war started in my country and tons of people got drafted or called for reserve duty(like me) and I literally could barely find a few minutes a day to call my mom and let her know I was fine. The last thing on my mind would probably be some stupid porn game.
As far as I remember, the dev is Ukrainian, a country under similar circumstances probably. Who knows if he got drafted, his house got bombed or his family member got killed.
But I guess you don't care as long as you get your porn on time.

As I said before, I fully understand RL problems and even more how bad war is. But if you now had time to get in touch (the reason was clearly “abandoned”), then it would certainly have been possible earlier. As I said, 3 minutes in the last >3 months.
And we don't know if war is the reason, but here too you can briefly mention whether it is really the reason, then there are no misunderstandings but understanding and sympathy.
And the toilet thing may sound like an exaggeration, but I like to mention it as a funny hint in case someone comes up with the excuse “no time”

In the end, to each their own; personally, for Patreon supporters, I agree they have the right to demand an update because they spare some bucks to fund the game. The update can only contain excuses or rambling as long as it's an update to the state of the game or the devs. Or if the devs really have no time to update, they can pause the billing. I'm not the Patreon supporter; I only rely on the pirate version, so I have nothing to lose by still waiting here.As I said before, I fully understand RL problems and even more how bad war is. The developer just responded after a long silent, I was just glad to hear they are ok. And they mention that they had RL issue, so I guess the last on their mind was a game.
