If you want a macOS version before the translators release a new version then simply make one. The general interest in mac is about 10% of any other version except maybe android which is still lower than PC. I am of course speaking in general without actually hacking every person who downloaded a copy of the game or expressed an interest in the game mostly because this would be beyond my capacity or interest.
There is more likely a virus on your system or you (like many others) have received a false positive. Try downloading from another source (there are currently 5) and maybe set your computer to "Not dumb" (not an insult to you but to general security on most systems), maybe download malwarebytes (either free or paid versions) and use it to scan any download. Be aware that downloading an infected file doesn't infect your system, running it does.
