It's amazing that Nibana Hana has a back up of the mega! Would it be worth taking all the content and uploading it to a VK account instead of another mega since it's Russian hosted and seems less susceptible to takedown requests i.e. Sims Galaxy?
I have some free time over Christmas and would be happy to help build a VK account and upload and catalogue content, but figure it's worth making sure first that others here don't struggle to access VK pages and files?

Mega folder Gone?

I take a few days to play the game and the shit hits the fan. What's going on with this Mega folder and what can I do to help?

Yeah, sadly it seems like it's been subject to a takedown under DMCA which is annoying as hell. It's not been a great few months for sharing content.

Luckily another user has a backup of the folder from a month or so ago so not all is lost, but it seems like the current discussion is on alterative hosting options.

Ok I assumed everyone knew this already, but I've seen several people tearing their hair over where to get certain key mods like Wicked Whims, MCCC, TwistedMexi, and Basemental now that the Mega folder is gone. Guys. All of these are available FOR FREE on the creators' OWN WEBSITES. And also on LoversLab which you just need to create a free account for. Every one of them has a public release version that is 100% compatible with the latest patch. The only thing you were getting from Patreon was the early release/alpha test version of a mod - which is potentially full of bugs, as a lot of people saw with the last WW.

All of the big core mod creators (aka the ones who actually do quite a bit of work) appear to be decent humans who do this because they love it, and put their stuff out for free. Seek and you shall find. ;)
This isn't entirely true. Especially with WickedWhims, and Nisa. Strip clubs are only available in the Patreon version of WickedWhims, and Nisa's Patreon version has the new Succubus crap (tried for five minutes.. blah.) and only works with WW Patreon version. The rest is pretty much as you say. Except for AEP and Red Apple.net by Ksuihuh. She hides her stuff behind a paywall for months.

To be honest, I haven't done much building since the update. I did notice that the mirror reflection bug has gotten stranger though. EA already knows about that. If I do run into any strangeness, I will certainly call it out :)
Thanks, I already knew about the mirror image getting worst, thought they had fixed that issue with the last patch, but I guess not. Thanks for the response.

there used to be, not been on discord for a while will be reinstalling it in the next day or two
I believe the discord may have been gone for a while, but I could be wrong. I know that the one that was started shortly after Yiff closed went down.

I guess the fact that they can earn more money from Patreon than if they worked a full-time job is just a coincidence ;)

That said, I don't understand how there are some CC creators who make more money than TURBO or Basemental... and still feel the need to send DMCA takedown requests to sites that don't even host their content.
