Sorry if my questions are juvenile. Why would anyone want to have multiple versions of the base game? I can understand pirating the DLCs I guess but I’m a wimp so I tend to be afraid of legal trouble through my Internet provider

Thats understandable but in all actuality, its not likely that your internet provider will care and even if they do, most it'll be is a slap on the wrist. Also, multiple installs becasue EA patches tend to fix one thing but break about a hundred others including mods. So you can play a stable version until the mods you want to use are updated and other issues are fixed.
Thank you for explaining. I live in US so I know the piracy laws are stricter and I’m pretty vanilla haha. When the game updates then you have to redownload the whole thing each time. Starts to feel like it’s worth it just to pay instead but no hate to anyone who doesn’t or can’t do that

. Updates for the game are pushed out the day after but you won't have to go through the trouble of downloading everything again.

Well now I have the option to debug the mods I write and still play the older version until I get everything set up. It takes a very long time to get everything just right for each version EA releases. New patch and EP coming soon btw and now I can check things out when it drops without having to fully update. All pluses. I'm in Michigan and have yet to get a notice on downloads but I am also careful where I download and what torrents so that helps

There was these youtubers VixenSimmer and AhriSims that in my opinion made ridiculously beautiful sims (For Free) however i lost track of the pages where they placed the files, i believe if you google ahrisims simdump you can still find them, but they stoped making those supermodel looking sims because some viewers complained their sims weren't diverse enough or were too beautiful is a shame honestly, but they still make good content anyway i still highly recommend to look them up on youtube, theres also these brazilian or portugese youtuber but let allow me to find her because i cant remember the name,if somebody know some creators that are great at making custom sims model (including CC, so no need to download a bunch of things from various places), similar to sims4imagination, please tag me with the answer names of theses creators
only creators, no websites or places where you can get some. i desperatly need some custom sims as the ones from the last EA/Maxis dlcs seriously sucks -_-
I'd recommend Divaka45 on TSR but the problem is you have to download the CC separately and one by one, and you said you are not looking for that

did you actually get the refund because there have been several that didn't and just ended up blocked
I often keep too copies on my system. I update my Origin one, and see how much of an abortion it is before I do the other one. Makes life easier when most of the mods can take days or even weeks to get updated. This way it gives you a fallback option so you can still play the previous version while you mess with the new one. (You'll also need to keep an alternate of your Sims 4 dir that resides in your Documents folder.) For that matter, you can just copy your Sims 4 directory to another drive, and simply add the crack to it and it will run. Unlike Sims 3, Sims 4 is all contained in one directory and doesn't need to refer to your registry to find the expansions.
