And that's just what I can remember right now. After I removed SOL, my game got faster and my frustration decreased considerably.

I understand that KS likes to add cutesy things to the game, and that she needs to justify the shitloads of money she makes off Patreon, ads and merch, but I would suggest she spend some of that money learning basic XML, Python and general coding practices, because her mod is BUGGY AS HELL.

As someone who has been in software engineering for over 25 years, my impression is that she's a kid who got in a little over her head. Writing code is easy, but shipping quality production software definitely isn't.

I use Slice of Life also and while I do like the mod a lot, I sympathize with your complaints. The frequency of these little "life enhancers" are numerous to the point that my characters act out of character. No, Mr. Beefcake Manly Man, you do not wear face masks or break out into acne six times a day. Dehydration is also the worst fucking offender. I see sims get woozy all the time from dehydration and colds. The good thing about SoL is that it's very modular and I've added only a few bits and pieces of the mod in that freshens up the gameplay. The Streamer mod I actually uninstalled because everybody and their (actual) grandmother became a streamer.

This mod is NOT worth the $12k/month she makes on Patreon. I do like her Exploration mod, though.

I was tempted to leave only the acne stuff (after tweaking the XML a bit), but I couldn't get it to work on its own unless I also installed a bunch of other stuff. The other thing I liked was the overlays for certain buffs, but I got tired of editing the packages every single time she updated because she insisted on implementing them in such a way that they would override the custom skins I use (which are usually skin details).

Overall, I'd give her a 9 for creativity and a 1 for execution :)

It sounds really cute that the teens can get acne! I’m almost tempted to download despite a few complaints here Hmm

It's not just teens. It's also young adults that can get acne (for the record I don't use teens and instantly age up kids to adults via MCCC). It's just the frequency that is a bit much. Using tub soaks will grant acne immunity for 3 days. If you don't mind upkeeping acne on multiple sims at once, you'll be fine.

Its too infrequent and random to be a CAS part and happens to random sims not the same one. Might be a bug on someones scripts dealing with outfits changes. Not out of the range of possibility but meh, EA is shit and they fuck up far more often than my sims being torn in half haha. The other is simulation lag and "might" be a modding script overriding the eat faster code. There are tons of bugs being reported for this EP and I don't get many of em. In fact my game runs a bit better so far than previously knock on midget wood. Oh another one I found the other day was friezes on walls. They basically work like shit anymore and find myself fighting with them to the point I say fuck it and make wallpaper to match instead

Dude Slice of Life is garbage. I had it in my shit a while back and removed it. Makes the game run sluggish. Phone interactions were taking hours to complete and would sometimes throw LEs

Oh and heres another bullshit story I heard today from the mouth of EA about simulation lag and how shitty the game runs now,they are aware of the problem and suggest you go buy a PS5 to fix it! Fuck this company to death. Everything is indeed their fault. A meteor shower happens, cities blow up, peeps die, it's EA's fault. Peeps magically transform into toads, midgets learn to fly and chuck boomerangs at ppl, killing them it's EA's fault. However, if it started raining goats and hookers all the sudden it would not be their fault. That would rule!

Happy Holidays to everyone! I was wondering if anyone had the anto charlotte hair? I checked the downloads a few pages back but it only had the charlie hair. Also was wondering if anyone had the two newest leahlilith hairs? Thanks in advance!
