It was not updated for quite a while but at least in my game it still works.
If your Sims have dance affinity or are active they might use the pole autonomous which can be a bit annoying sometimes. But it is very nice and has very good animations. And as far as I know WW supports the Pole from Merrcuryfoam as well so you can also place it in the stripclubs.
