After wasting a few hours on this game i was looking hard to find something good to say about it, but i really can't justify my wasted time other than that i fell for a "next scene will be good" trap, it wasn't, same for the next scene and the next and the next...

Art is pretty bad, story is cliche, simple and pretty boring, same applies to characters, on top of that there is almost no porn in this game.

This game is trying to be an RPG but mechanics are overcomplicated, 90% of them are unnecessary and/or implemented badly, a huge waste of time and resources for devs.

There is no reason what so ever to play this game, no matter from what angle i look at it. It's just a time sink.

There are no real choices at all aside from do you want to see the sex scene or not, anything else will just either completely ignore your choice or shoehorn the results of choosing what you didn't choose anyway then later pretending you never picked what you did, no matter how badly it doesn't fit narratively. (honestly this would be forgivable to some extent if the choices were clearly fluff choices that wouldn't have made a difference or the way things looped back together was well written, it could be forgiven for being illusion of choice that way but it's clearly not even that.)

Writing wise is where it completely falls apart, none of the characters are likable at all... Story progression is driven by a random convenient events/spontaneous decisions by other characters, you get no real say in what you do next or how things get done, because you are not allowed to disobey the collective or leave the group despite having no compelling reason for wanting to be a part of it. Aside from that, characters tend to suddenly just know things that are out of character based on what's convenient to the narrative in the moment, even if it contradicts the established events leading up to that point or it just straight up makes no sense.(might be because the game just completely ignores all your choices beyond the following few seconds of you having made them, and just carries on as if you'd made different ones.))(pretty sure there's no like/dis-like tracker either reactions are just there for flavor.)

artwise I don't know I'd say it's okay, if not for how the full body sprites move their eyes and blink while you read, I've seen it done well in other games but it doesn't work at all in this game it's just creepy.

    Casual Voyeur

Successful attempt at an adult fantasy RPG (mild spoilers)

    The good
    • Customisable MC (name, gender, race, character stats)
    • Animated characters
    • Very nice and fitting music
    • Interesting story and characters
    • Immersive and (mostly) coherent fantasy world
    • RPG atmosphere
    • A lot of dialogue choices (although I can't say how much is fluff or has actual consequences as I only did one playthrough).

    The so-so
    • The visuals cut both ways (the dev was apparently striving for a "distorted" fantasy look, but in my opinion the renders are a bit too overexposed).
    • Quests and quest rewards add a nice touch, but it doesn't really make sense (& breaks the immersion) when you receive gold for simply reaching a town.

    The improvable
    • At times uncanny looking faces.
    • Characters (especially Lysbette) sometimes reveal too much meta knowledge, which again hurts immersion.
    • Story sometimes lacks coherence (like Lys never really questioning if her mother is actually guilty or not).
    • Low empathy writing (Lys showing no affection considering her mother could already have been executed).
    • At times striking lack of choices (I wanted to report the finding of the dead "princess").
    • Intrusive UI elements
    • A few typos

The Sixth Awakening is a well thought out and crafted adult RPG.
If you have the slightest affinity for fantasy RPGs, you should probably give it a try.

I thought the writing and the characters were interesting enough, but the lack of much choice so far beyond flavour text was a bit of a let down.

The art is definitely not the best I've seen, but it's serviceable.

I like some things about this game.

The characters are well done and feel natural.
    5/5

The story is looking promising and has my attention, but of course lacking content yet.
    4/5

The art is pretty good. The UI and aesthetic work perfectly for the style. Although I don't really like the animation added. It feels out of place and only distracting.
    4/5

    Great music. Fits the setting.
    5/5

H stuff... Pretty much lacking on all fronts there. Very little.
    1/5

I did not like how the different choices felt unimportant. Very little is changed regardless of what you choose at any point.
I also did not like that the two current stories are only different in the beginning, but at least those beginnings were unique. Usually this is done in the opposite...
As a choose your own adventure: 2/5

Overall the game is still very early. It has a good starting story for two routes, but not much else yet.
    For quality thus far: 4/5

    Very promising game!
I liked how we can choose different races and beginning and there is actually a good amount of choices that change the dialogues. Not sure if it changes the consequences though, but still, give gives some room to give personality to the character.
