Option B really sucks. Should have gone with option C.
Apparently the dev agrees, but he really backed himself into a corner with the poll.
Dev has only stated 'sometime this month'. I've heard that it may be tomorrow but havent seen any proof or confirmation from the dev. My money is next weekend since the dev has mentioned that this update will be extremely large and content heavy

It's already super reveling. No room for good cloth damage from working like the Dev wanted.
The new post only says which option to choose so i think the update will have to wait until next week.
I know, it's super disappointing. I do love me some clothing damage, and the fact that the dev wanted pick C but still went with a poll that ended up picking an outfit neither the dev, nor a good portion of the player base wanted is really unfortunate.
I'm hoping he still adds outfit C as, like, the uniform for a different tavern or inn or something in the future. It's just too good to waste entirely.
I think that the poll was for the update after this, not necessarily the one that's coming out soon. Would make more sense to get things like outfits planned out ahead of time, rather than towards the end of a major update cycle. Could be wrong though, guess we'll see soon enough.

Another option they could do is make option B a set of clothes an antagonist could "gift" Luna later and use it for future scenes so as to not make the poll completely useless, thus allowing them to use one of the other options for their planned tavern. Who knows if this will help the situation, but it IS an option that they could do that most people wouldn't be apposed to. (Or at least I believe most won't. Can't always account for people and their opinions.)

Honestly the dev should've either not included it after deciding it isn't feasible or just try to make it work now that it's been chosen, not this blaming everyone around him for choosing option B.
If you can't take much from the dress then why don't you just add more onto it originally? Start with a full dress and make her wear a skimpier version like the original design for B, it ain't rocket science. Yes the other designs make more sense but they're also a bit boring on their own so you can't blame people for choosing B.

the comment to me reads more like a tease about the game. "So much for the easy gold" "what are customers gonna do if she can't wear the dress properly"
Could be wrong but I think that those are just teases about the game? Like, she gets harassed because of it, customers complain so the bar owner needs her to "make up for it", something like this.

Nothing is stopping the dev from adding outfit C in a different setting later down the road, at least I hope there isn't because I really want outfit C

That is correct! Luna will get into trouble at her new workplace because of the poll result.
People are crazy if they think I am blaming anyone for voting wrong! The dress wouldn'nt have been on the poll if I did not like it and have good scenes for it in mind.
Fair enough. I guess I'm just a little salty and got the wrong vibe from the line "However, I think picking B was a mistake and you guys didn't really think this through."
Looking forward to the new content either way. Would love to see outfit C make it in somewhere in the future, but even if it doesn't, keep up the good work.
I don't usually chat but yeah can't wait for the new version of the game im so hype especially with new content we're gonna have
