Overview:
Rhodias is a low-rank criminal. One day, an inexplicable urge prompts him to leave his gang behind and take to the distant mountains.

Same universe, completely different characters and story, so you can play this one without having played The Symbiant.

Unrelated, but am I the only one who has trouble loading images on F95? I purposely used JPG images for the screenshots in hope they would load faster.

When directing our artists, we don't tell them to hide buttholes (or any other detail), but I can think of a few explanations why you won't see them often in our games:

1. When hiring artists, our absolute priority is finding someone who can draw faces consistently (different angles, different expressions, etc.). Anatomy is of course important but a botched face in an important story scene is harder to fix than an awkward leg, dick, abs, etc...
2. From personal observation, artists who draw faces well don't have much, if any experience drawing buttholes/dicks and other details typically associated with "hardcore" porn, and inversely, artists who draw fine buttholes and penises tend to botch the faces. This is true whether the artist is male or female.
3. Since we are very much into romance, we try to show both characters' face during sex scenes, which means even less screen space to show buttholes

I think the best and most detailed buttholes I've seen are in Konohanaya's stuff (The End of Dreams notably).

If you're talking about the "Cayama" ending, my associate and I originally just planned on leaving that one open because we believed it worked fine just the way it did. But when we reached the "After Stories DLC" on Kickstarter, of course we had to make good on our promise and expand the story.

Believe it or not, Re:Union actually costs us more to make than The Symbiant because we paid extra for an art assistant + several backgrounds artists for the 2D décor of the Odaria scenario. Re:Union also has the same amount of dialogue, despite a smaller wordcount. It means paying the same money for voice actors and voice direction. The "DLCs" snowballed into being a separate game as a result.

And The Symbiant II? Currently, it is costing us more than The Symbiant and Re:Union combined.

We have no "DLC" or "After Stories" game planned for The Symbiant II, and this time we didn't do a Kickstarter campaign to avoid the stress, so we don't have to promise extra content, or a tight delivery date to our backers. Nothing is set in stone however, so who knows what might happen in the future.
