VN - Ren'Py - The Synthetic [Ep.6] [Carbon]

Pros:

- Idea of the Ai coming to life is interesting.

- Looks too much look that other game.
- The mom/milf body looks too unnatural for my taste.

Aside from the nice renders which mimics the other game and the ai aspect this is much of the same thing. Dev wants to please both parties so now there's this focus on the MC getting laid now. When you have games where the main love interest or attraction is putting out for other people you can't expect certain people to sit and wait for update 5 or 10 before the main character and that said main love interest hookup. It's unreasonable. If you're going to, what's the phrase of the kiddos? Slut out? If you're going to slut out your main character on one path then you can't have her cliching to her moral compass all of the sudden when it comes to the male main character. Remember, half and half must mean exactly that.

One more thing, PR helps.

Biggest plus of the game is visuals. Coming to plot it's earlier to say but it's similar to the overly used NTR plots. Mom's job is not doing well she had to do sexual favours to the client to keep her job and there is the common stereotype boss who trying to get into her pants by blackmailing about job failure. And there is MC who gropes mom when she sleeps and there is a slutty aunt. Only twist here is we got an AI. NTR is avoidable but it cut off that content from the game there is no alternative path for now. Another worst part of the game is UI. Like I said earlier this is one got good visuals so dev decided to make UI unique. But it got back fired it's confusing and I have to click right button of the mouse 3 times inorder to do a save/Load . Have to see that transition too it's time consuming and annoying. For now there is only Little content. Will wait and see about this one if it improves will raise my ratings

On this game I was kinda divided and some improvements were made to things like no longer needing to unlock content with a patch. Then there are lots of choices which use the usual points system, which I guess will impact the game in the future, but some are labeled in a way that is very unclear with the effects they have, so you should play with tips activated so you really know what you're chosing. Also, the story itself makes pretty little sense in most cases, with characters having a bad personality with no clear definition, identity, etc. and the plot in general seems to lack any sort of interest as it evolves.

Render quality is decent but I ended up not liking the character models; animations are decent as well even though they are a bit short. I turned off the music but it does have it which is nice, and a couple sound effects here and there.

So, all in all, I was not really sure on this one in previous updates but as Ep3 goes it finally made me chose and I'm dropping this. It just doesn't have enough interest to make me want to play it while there are other better options out there.

Small review, cause current game rating totally misleading current game condition.
Firstly UI. UI getting worse after update - unlogical and uncomfortable.
I still don't understand why all new developers trying to focus around UI instead of polish plot/story. It's always over with good visual and ridiculously bad storytelling... Especially if that "unique" UI just don't work with most popular mods... Tips... Well, if players install any mod that show game code they see that all "tips" just misleading random words. And yellow tips on yellow background, huh?
Plot: All routes, for now, just unlogical. Sub and alpha routes randomly mixed, random fetishes randomly mixed and other. And you just can't save different routes because game don't have save names and all save names mods just crashes because that "unique" dev UI. Damn. Characters development just not exist. You can't justify sudden character behavior with one glass of wine. Twist like that don't work. You need background for that type of behavior.
Visual: There's no much to say. It's just good.

There are a lot of easy detected bugs in game. Something wrong with this music levels - in some scenes' music barely exist and in other scenes' music impossible loud. Game settings don't save if game restarted, etc.

Game starts as 4/5 and right now its 2/5 only, not 1 because of visual. Game quality can be easy improved if developer focus more on plot/storytelling, make routes/twists more logical.

Not gonna lie after so many years, a good NTR game with bang on Body details.

tldr: it's a 10 minute or so prologue at the moment. Backstory and setting with the beginning of a story.
Sex wise, a bit of teasing and thats about it.

The visuals were pretty good. I can see some finding the high detailing as off putting but I liked it.

The biggest problem is simply that it has next to no content yet.
I recommend waiting to try it, as it doesn't have enough to be worth much at the moment. Some day it might.

The renders are way too detailed that the characters now look ugly. Also give the lanlady some vaseline lol. The story is the same about some guy trying to fuck his landlady after staying a loser. Hey it even got the hot slutty aunt. All the classics.

I don't even know where to begin to express how utterly disappointing this game is. Let's talk about characters. I honestly want to have a chat with the artist after I've seen the abominations they created. I understand going for a specific style, slightly cartoonish or stylized with exaggerated proportions, like ass, hips, or breasts. But what they've created is absolutely disgusting with complete disregard for human proportions, especially females since they are the quintessential part of the whole game.

Let's talk about variety. There are so many morphs in Daz, allowing for an infinite number of possible variations in looks. Yet, somehow, their characters all end up looking the same. But it's not only their problem. Most 'artists' do that, so I won't blame them entirely, as they are just part of the same crowd.

The art, in general, looks so amateurish but dialed up to eleven. All the mistakes they should have avoided are ignored and amplified. Terrible camera angles, no understanding of composition, lighting, textures... I won't even mention the clothes, since there are already plenty of other basic things that got neglected, went wrong, or were ignored. How could they possibly think the first image of 'mother's' legs is good looking? It's terrible. I just again would like to ask the artist, did they actually see a mature woman looking like that? There are so many reference pictures on the internet of women from 40 and beyond. Just take a look at their skin, their legs, their bodies. They do not look like the ugliness that's portrayed in this game.

The writing. It features your typical cliché story with a stern, controlling 'mother' and a 'genius' son that nobody understands. There's nothing interesting about it. What should be interesting are their interactions. But unfortunately, like the art, it falls flat. Their interactions are not only uninteresting, but they are also painfully forced and incoherent. And their dialogue, which should hold it all together, is just disjointed and terribly written, as if by someone who has not had many conversations in their life. And, that wall of text desperately trying to shovel a backstory at us? It could have been presented in a far more engaging way – say, through actual interaction with the characters. What a novel concept!

I get that English probably isn't their first language, but come on, there are loads of tools and people out there who could help with that. Yet, what we get is just a pain to read, not interesting, and totally fails to grab your attention.

The only good thing is the interface. Sure, it's a stolen look from Cyberpunk 2077, but at least it's well done. I won't make a fuss about that. What really bugs me, though, are the stupid unskippable screens – totally unnecessary. And don't get me started on the lack of testing. How did they even manage to release the game with such egregious errors? It's beyond belief.

To summarize: horrible, ugly-looking characters, amateurish, below-average artwork with slight potential to improve in the future, and terrible writing with painfully poor English. It does have a great interface, but with some basic functionality disabled or hindered on purpose (this needs fixing ASAP). Additionally, there are terrible bugs that are still present. We'll see how far it goes, but it'll probably get abandoned after a few episodes or updates. A very, very mediocre start indeed...


P.S. Would you please slow down on those normal maps?

The game looks promising and one of a kind. The plot seems can be developed well further and it can become unique. Renders are also quite good along with sound. Though I would have loved to see more to form a proper review it looks good for now so I will keep an eye on its development.

I loved the game so far, there isn't much but from the looks of things story is gonna be interesting the only things I found weird were mother fingers they felt weird, best of luck to dev and hopefully he'll keep on working with same enthusiasm

Great start awesome realistic renders dev has put a lot of effort in the game from my perspective and ofcourse with some sexual content not like some other creators who didn't put any sexual or lewd content in their first release.
This game for sure gonna be in my top list only if my guy carbon keep updating this game and not getting this great game gets abandoned tag!

It's a bit early for a review of this game as it only has one short chapter, but it already has a lot of promise and I'll be updating my review in line with the next updates.

Everything from the visuals to the presentation is really well done, the menu stands out and is unique, although it lacks a few options like skip transitions and after choices. The renders look great and the two female models presented so far are really hot (especially if you like bigger 'assets').

There is not much to say about the plot at the moment, it looks like your standard incest scenario with a unique twist, but the dialogues are at least well written. Right off the bat, it seems to offer a decent amount of branching and pathways.

Edit - Fair warning: the game is eerily similar to another one that got milked to the point of abandonment, and this game developer has already made a statement about delaying updates if the game gets leaked, and how he will have to abandon it if he doesn't get enough support. So take all promises with a grain of salt...

Seems to be a very promising game.

Pros:
- only one female character for the moment, but she is hot (curious to see the aunt)
- interesting plot for the moment
- great looking animations
- a couple of hot scenes in the first release (although a bit short)
- good writing without any typos or translations made by google

Cons:
- the only thing which is a bit annoying for me is the missing setting to skip transitions

Great start to the game. Beautiful characters and renders with great writing and storytelling. I'm really curious to see where this goes and can't wait to spend more time with "aunt" Looking forward to seeing more!
