So I subbed to the dev's Patreon, and you can't even get the license key they require you to have to play the game until you've given them $9+ total, like KittyTitties said, which they don't tell you until you subscribe, since it's hidden inside the post just out of view of what's visible to people who haven't subscribed yet, which is just as, if not more, scumbaggy than them requiring the license key in the first place, especially since they only have $3/month, $7/month, and $15/month subscription prices, meaning you either have to do the $15/month subscription price or wait 2-3 months to play the game, and I'm not about to pay $15/month or stay subscribed at $7/month for 2 months or at $3/month for 3 months and then risk my computer afterwards by giving them my hardware ID just to get the license key to test if the bugs are there, but, based on what I'm seeing in the comments on their update posts for the game on their Patreon, the sex animations don't work and the bugs we're experiencing in the cracked version are in the uncracked version too, at least as of the current update, so looks like we're waiting til the next update to see if they're fixed

UPDATE: I commented about them requiring $9+ total given to them to get the key when they only have the $3, $7, and $15 subscription prices, how scummy it is, and suggested them either giving the license key to everyone subscribed to their Patreon, regardless of how much they've given, adding a $9/month subscription price, or lower the requirement to $7 and give it to people who are at least $7/month patrons on their latest update post, and this was their response, might as well have just said "fuck you, I'm not listening"

and yeah, their solution to battle people wanting to play it for free by pirating it is to make it more expensive, even though, logically, making it cheaper will make it less likely that people will want to pirate the game, but delusional devs will always choose money over logic

yeah, all there is to do now is wait, supposedly the next update is coming out sometime this month, but I don't know if it actually will or if they're going to delay it for whatever reason

To punish the nonpaying customers, they've decided to *checks notes* make the game less affordable to their paying customers. What did they think the paying customers will do in response to this news, get mad on their behalf and go lynching the pirates for them? If it's an issue of "I'm not making as money as I expected", has this guy considered just not releasing buggy builds and then fixing it over weeks? They also clearly don't understand PR and marketing.

That's the thing. The game has a generic plot and easily copyable mechanics. Press and hold until you're in the ballpark range of the circle. Don't stick your dick into a paying customer unless it's consensual. Repeat 5x to beat the game. Wow, how revolutionary. Are the girls cute? Sure. Cute enough to rank in my top 100? No. Pretty much any asshole with comparable art skills can replace them.

I was so pissed by their statement that I tried to refactor the game code and figure out the bug, 3 hours in and I realize that I got better things to do, it's just not worth it for this game lmao.

Unfortunately, since I'm not a subscriber to their Patreon, I can't read the entire post to find out if they addressed the issues with the game animations. If anyone has the new version 1.0.3, please share the cracked game.

It seems not to find some animation sequence from the asset, but the thing is that I check the spine files with the same version based on the header of the files which version 4.2.3 and spine can't load the files at all. So I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with it.
I'm don't know much about spine but I do work with it to export gifs and such from animations frequently for other games, so I genuinely have zero idea why it doesn't work.

For the code itself, it technically can be re-arranged, but it will just take too much time, at that point the dev might just release the full game already. I did use some deobfuscator script for the specific obfuscation method that the dev use, but while the game did work, there're a lot of errors like missing bg and buttons.

If the game was actually good, it might be worth the time to deobfuscate and fix the code, but it's just not worth it.

5.81US$~881JPY that means 485JPY after dlsite's cut or 3.09$ per copy. In total that's ~34,441$ from dlsite.
Patreon's fee for creators is 5% at best, so ~4,922$ from Patreon.
39,363$ in total revenue
5 months is about 152.18 days = 21.74 weeks. That's 3478 total working hours at best.
So they get payed 11.32$/hr at best
