Saw the feedback, made some edits:
1: Added an initial config so you can choose to click to advance, or auto advance (as you can now) but with shorter delays
2: Set shorter delays as defaults

PS: as people mentioned, you can modify any version of the game with shorter deadlines by changing

KEY_PEDESTAL_DEFAULT_DELAY
to a smaller number (its in milliseconds, so pick any number of seconds and multiply by 1000)

Or by setting

KEY_PEDESTAL_AUTO_ADVANCE
to false, which will allow you to click to advance.

Both in screen.js.
