The writing was excellent. It really built up a proper world that I could appreciate. The game basically takes place in a war-torn world, but you can play from six different perspectives. The reason I think the game is so well made is because all six storylines offer unique perspectives into the overlying world, while all staying consistent to their own narrative. The game does require multiple playthroughs to get all the scenes, but I did not mind this at all since the play throughs all felt like new experiences.

A unique semi-sandbox, many-playthrough experience. Designed for replaying 6+ times over, each time from a different characters point of view.
Not for everyone, but I became more entranced with the design and the gameplay ideas than the porn.

In terms of typical hentai game metrics it doesn't rate highly. Fetishes are narrow: almost every scene is rape/bdsm/degeneration/humiliation. Men always win, women always lose. EG. The three male PCs are Slave-master, dungeon-interrogator, and rapist-soldier-guy. Depending on your run, you may go a long time without seeing any H scenes. The replay-ism can be grindy and is definitely time consuming.

I fell in love with the overworld map, the war and battle systems, the trade caravans, the towns and cities. Characters have their own unique interactions with these mechanics, with some of them swaying the course of battle, taking part in caravan guard duty, performing raids and heists, etc. It is a mix of Rance and Mount and Blade vibes. This is the kind of vision many have had, but few even attempt. It is actually fun.

Something special about it, is that even if you know how one of the characters stories CAN end from one characters' perspective, it can change completely when playing as that character. So you dont feel like the story is too predictable.
Not until you've done every playthrough and realise you are still missing some Endings from the Gallery does the grind kick in.

The game has issues as the others have mentioned, but i hope other developers see this game and do something similar in future.

Ok, overall a good game, clocked up around 25 hours to play everything that interested me but tldr, see it as a sort of octopath traveler. Different protags, same war, sometimes interactions on the same side or on opposite ones.
A lot of scenes, especially when playing the empire but while you can play any playthrough in any order, there's one that helps you with the only multicharacter quest, the unicorn quest.
Without spoiling too much, it's Gear, Ingo, Borde, Adel,Faye and finally Leda for a cool weapon.
Even then, the weapon is part of a series of Hidden Magical Items you can use in any playthrough, whether they are OP weapons (even if some end up being class specific) and intersting items that block random encounters or block negative publicity on your head (yes it's a mechanic for Adel, as weird as it sounds)
Overall, it's not a five star as it can get tedious on some of the longer playthroughs. Commanders are the shortest to complete, then Soldiers and Wanderers can take ages to do everything you want to due to the goblin in your head that wants to optimize every action.
THe main issue you'll notice, especially on Wanderers is the music and its loops. To raid a city as a bandit, it's a single track, on loop, for assaults that take upward to 5 minutes sometimes more with the amount of battle you fight. I had a real headache at this point. So don't hesitate to mute the sound (lack of options ingame) and play something on the side with more than 2 songs.
Finally, the thing that really increases playtime is that even when you die in a loop and accept it as an ending, restarting with this character lets you keep (for most) their level, making it way easier, especially for the Soldiers, after some loops you can rush commandants and end battles when you're around level 25 which is impossible in one round to achieve. Becoming an unavoidable force on the battlefield is its own kind of pleasure.
Finally a tip that if you don't know how to get certain endings, finish 3 endings, bad, good, whatever and some guy at the bar will give you tips on how to achieve every ending.

TLDR: Overall excellent Octopath rpg but weighed down by music loops that lack diversity. Reach multiples endings for each character based on your actions with multiple characters and become a battlefield's demigod from an easily killable side character

    Story - 5/5 -
The story is structured in a 6-way omnibus format where you take control of one different "main character" through 10 chapters of gameplay. The overarching storyline of the war ties each of the stories together and there are many individual events where characters from other "routes" will show up in the route you're playing (in fact you can see almost every other character in each other route I believe). You can reach unique story outcomes with the character you're playing (and different outcomes for playable characters who that character encounters). Some of these events will transfer between routes to effect what happens later on as you play another character.

The war makes the worldbuilding interesting just by watching how every character interacts with events/people in distinct ways. The best part of it to me was how refreshing it felt to be able to tie all of these events together, affect characters I had seen in other routes, and come to a better understanding of the world/politics/motivations the more I played.

The translation is also pretty high quality. There are a few errors here and there but overall it's an impressively smooth and effortless reading experience.

    H content - 5/5 -
This is partly down to personal preference in terms of liking the general themes, but just in terms of the artstyle itself I think it's solid. The relative simplicity and hand-drawn feel are charming without being overwhelming or feeling like every other game on the market.

There's also a pretty massive amount of unique scenes. I was blown away that the game was only ~300MB. Many scenes fit to the central 'theme', but the majority still felt unique and all of them fit satisfyingly in the story.

    Gameplay - 3/5 -

I'd like to give this a 5/5 because of how good it feels to have an RPG with some gameplay elements outside of the standard dungeon diving and turn based battle (not that those aren't also included, but the wanderer and commander routes more than make up for it).

Where this game loses points for me is the insane grind that is required in some routes in order to pass certain story events required for different endings for each character. Granted, the story offers a pretty good system for failing and being able to carry over your level/money/items to additional attempts on the same route (and in some cases carrying things over to other routes). Even still I decided the grind was a bit much rather quickly into my first playthrough (male soldier). I'd recommend using a save editor or MTool for this just to skip the grind a bit to be honest, but that's up to each individual.

    Uniqueness - 5/5 -

As detailed in sections above, what sets this game apart for me is that it doesn't really feel like every other game on this site. It's refreshing to play something that felt like the creator had their own unique vision for. I actually enjoyed the different styles of gameplay and I liked looking at art that was smooth without being so busy or template that it offends the eyes.

I'd like it a lot if there was a sequel to this series at some point. If you're interested I'd highly recommend supporting the official release (linked in the OP). At only ~$10 as of posting it's a pretty insane deal for a game you can easily sink ~20-30 hours into and get some solid H content along with it.

In this game, you have six characters to play with: three males and three females. To trigger scenes as a male, you need to win fights, while as a female, it's the other way around. Some events may also be triggered by talking to NPCs.

    • Male & Female Soldiers (linear, short story, classic fights)
    • Male General (BDSM/toys, rock-paper-scissors fights, very short story)
    • Female General (rock-paper-scissors fights, very short story)
    • Male Wanderer (Open world, minor base management, team)
    • Female Wanderer (Open world, classic JRPG, alone)
    What's unique:

All stories are connected in one way or another. For example, you can defeat a female character as a male and trigger a scene.

Each character has at least one special feature; for instance, the male wanderer is a raider warlord with a base that can be upgraded with new facilities.

All items, except personal items, are shared between all playthroughs. You can benefit from previous playthroughs as other characters, but most characters use different types of equipment, so it's mostly about consumables, which are most important anyway. ^^

    The Good:

    • High replayability
    • Many endings
    • Much content
    • Secrets and hidden quests, endings
    • Seen scenes can be skipped
    • Possibility to skip chapters after beating the game once (to unlock other endings and scenes)
    The Bad:
    • Stories are lackluster
    • No variety of content
    The Neutral:
    • Some quest conditions are unclear, mostly for the female wanderer.
    Grind:

Yeah, at the start, it's a bit grindy, but it's not unfair. Even if you lose, you "only" lose your story progress, but you keep your experience, items, and sometimes special features like rank as a female soldier.

    Conclusion:

I'll be honest; if I were to rate the overall art, content, story, and game mechanics alone, I would give it a 3-star. However, as a whole, with its unique concept, special features for each character, little nice gimmicks, and overall good quality and amount of content, it's a 4-star.

    Last words:
Apparently, there is also a doujin to the series "Crassens War"

A bit old school, but I really enjoyed the open worldish aspect of this game. People complain about not knowing where to go, but no one complains about Elden Ring. This is not Elden Ring mind you, but it is definitely a more of an adventure game with surprises.

The combat is pretty typical but at least it's balanced and you don't have to purposefully lose.

The only drawback is that it probably needed more H-scene interactions or combat sex.

Edit: Excellent game actually, just did most of the characters. A bit grindy yes, but if you're a person that is looking for an engaging Hgame, this is it. Not just a CG hunter

tl;dr it's an interesting game but as a porn game it's not that great.

    PRO:
1.extremely unique concept and design. Honestly I'd like to see more games like this
    2. there's actual gameplay and decision making involved.
    3. a lot of replay-ability as you can play as 6 different characters... technically....
    4. the game is challenging

    CON:
    1.kinda repetative and grindy
    2. older RPG maker engine
    3. it's a bit repetitive. the majority of the porn is just you raping or getting raped.
4.subjectively, I'm not a fan of GOR, which if you play any female character, that's what you'll only get. It makes sense,,yet at the same time it feels a bit foolish that, in order to see the sex scene for half of the characters, you have to lose. that's why I said "technically" in pro 3, the other 3 characters play basically the same but this time you get raped instead of killed if you lose. and in the part where you win and you reap the rewards of raping the women you've captured, it's randomized and you can run in to duplicate scenes. it doesn't feel too rewarding if at all.

played it for about 2-4 hours, here's my thoughts

    1. this game have soul, you basically play as 6 diff character in an overarching story, some of these are split between the antagonists and the protagonists, each with different story and some even have different gameplay, would recommend at least a try just to sate the curiosity

2.someone complain about the grind and I totally agree, this game grind is torturous, you get small bits of exp for each battle, use a save editor if you want to skip these, however that is not my main issue

    3. my main issue is that the game gives you to no guidance on what to do and where to go, if you are the soldier characters then it will be clear and simple but when you got to the other characters it become so confusing, like example being the bandit character, you can raze and loot cities but if you keep this up you get the bad ending and once they give you a hint it's still vague as fuck, in chapter 7 or 8 you notice a rival bandit calling themselves the "volunteer army". one of your underlings say they are stationed at the east but after exploring it for a chapter straight, I still couldn't find it. this game feels like a chore and confusing at times without a guide even with good translations

    4. the chapter system does kind of get annoying especially if you play either the generals or the bandit, for the general case your fort can get attacked however defending against these attackers are a waste of time because if you took one battle (either defending or attacking) you will jump to the next chapter, same thing with the bandit where each time you loot a city you need to send one of you party mates to go back and they will be gone permanently in that chapter

    5. I'd say the CG are subpar you get one pose per scene with either cum-stained variation or other very slight different detail to it, it's not bad but it's nothing to write home about, there is also an issue of getting dupes just with a diff hair color and/or eye color in both the soldier and the antagonist general route

overall it's 3/5 for me, If you are curious about the game then go for it but if you want my advice is to get a guideif you want to see the endings

    Illidan No Women 10000

Hello, today i will review this game. I honestly disappointed, after reading that there will be multiple endings and how they will change other songs. I personally completed 7 songs(3 Leda, 2 Adelheid, 1 Faye, 1 male soldier(forgot his name)), which is super grindy. I will rate this game by these categories : Translation, Story, Gameplay, Hscenes

    -------------------------------------

    MINOR SPOILERS ALERT

    --------------------------------------
Translation 4/5 - Decent translation with very rare mistakes. My main complaint is speech bubble during commander phase, when you ask for advise.

Story 4/5 - I am pretty disappointed with this game story. I was excited when i heard for multiple endings and being able to influence other characters song by completing others. BUT....
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Still, there is other situation which doesnt make sense, like typical minister in hdoujinshi during Adelheid song and his actions. I believe that some of my actions changed other songs, but no one shows me what changed.

Gameplay 2/5 - Worst part of this game. You must grind as soldier and you must grind as wandering hero. It'll take a long time, before you will be able to defeat strong enemies like knights or named characters. The only good thing, that progress will be saved, cuz it's all in one save. I will recommend for new players to start as female wandering hero, because she will be able to buy a lot of consumables and money(Dont forget about exp grind, lol). Well... I spoke only about grinding... How we progress through story? For soldiers it's very simple, you go to battle and sometimes talk with someone for special events. Female wandering hero... You must spend a lot of time to find some important NPCs and etc which will take at least hour imo, if you are lucky. Commander battles? Kids game which is pretty absurd imo, cuz kingdom commanders lose even when attacks come from one direction when they defend the fort, while you must save scam for correct strategies cuz advices isn't translated.

Hscenes 4/5 - I dont know what i can say about them. I am not into rape, but captured soldiers hscenes only differ with hair color/style, while main heroines get hscenes only cuz they lose or get bad end. For male ones it's opposite, cuz they just need to defeat female characters

My verdict is... 3.5 out of 5. Medium game which requires plenty of time. It gets easier with each ending, because you retain consumables for example or some characters save their exp. But i am personally disappointed in Adelheid and Leda campaigns. Maybe kingdom fall predetermined cuz this game originated from hentai doujinshi? Eh....
