Never know whether these games are worth a comment or not because as the dev says (and I think is awesome btw), he/she doesn't really care what others think and is making the projects to satisfy their own creativity.
Some thoughts:
- I _really_ dislike pop music in games as it almost never fits the theme or the scene and instead is the dev listing their favorite songs. Wastes space too. "Mute All" is probably my most used button in Ren'Py games.
- Premise is interesting and pretty original for this type of game. I went the non-incest route first and didn't actually see any content but the ideal of building up to lead the kingdom in a rebellion is pretty cool.
- I'm sure the silhouetted figures will save a lot of time sourcing pictures, or they might just be temporary, but I actually like them as a visual style for non-main characters. When you silhouette main characters though it looks a bit like "no picture found" where an appropriate picture can't be sourced.
- Some of the resolutions of the pictures displayed could do with being more uniform.
So basically a decent premise with a couple of minor issues that will get ironed out in time presumably. Will probably have another look at this when it's close to completion.
