The updated i-patch was done almost instantly upon release. There are 2 versions of the mod patched and not patched. So, the patched one already has it. The mod came out a week or so after the game came out.

Note:The Mod have two folders 100% Patched (not only the Characters Names) and No Patched copy and use the one you want.

not tried, but is that possible then? I know some mods "#¤ with saves so if you try loading a save without the mod you get grey screen

Check the last couple pages of the game's main topic, but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned there that old saves will not work. (I plan on a restart anyway, so w/e.)
