The game has an interesting concept and setting, and follows the formula that most other HTML real porn games do: repeat some scene to grind stats and unlock more scenes.

The text is better than that of most HTML games, and it's nicely formatted.
The pictures are hit and miss, but the developer has taken the time to remove most of the faces so it's not as obvious where a character switches bodies from one picture to the next.

It's a decent game overall.

The main problems with this game are:

A) Very poor user interface: there's no map, fast travel menus, nor hotkeys.
Easily 80% of clicks are wasted on navigation, which gets bothersome real quick, especially since you barely get enough energy to do a couple of things before you need to travel all the way back to bed and sleep.

Some options are broken: for example, you can "explore" a room only to be told that there's nothing left to explore, yet it will take energy away.

Same with your dungeon: it has an option to use the toys on yourself, but those options only work when there are available slaves.

Given how few buttons there are, more effort should be put when coding them.

B) It's never clear what you're supposed to do next, so the game turns into just clicking everywhere and crossing fingers so that new content is unlocked, and as mentioned above, some of these actions will take energy. This can get annoying real quick.

Sometimes you'll do some action and nothing will happen, then you'll do the same action the day after (without doing any other actions before other than sleeping) and it will magically trigger new content.

The game seems to offer a paywalled walkthrough, but I'm not paying just to figure out where to click next just because the game is unintuitive.

All in all, the game has potential, and more content than the average HTML text game. It also features a good amount of anal content, which is always nice to have. It can be fun for a bit, although all that clicking without anything new happening can get tedious.

It is very rare, nay unheard of for me to find a game that draws me in so deeply that I truly wish to play over and over again simply to see the different endings. As far as I can tell this game has four different endings, two on the submissive side and two on the dominant side. I have now played through all four and enjoyed them all for different reasons. Normally I simply play through a game once in the way I want to, for better or worse in some cases. And then make up my mind and write a review. I recommend this game to anyone who has even a fleeting interest. It is a simple sandbox lite game that really hooks and reels you in.

Pretty basic-looking game, but you can see the developers put an effort on creating a well established ambience and scenario. Religion and nuns not my favorite thing, but I must admit that because of the way it was written I actually found it pretty hot and kinky. You can tell it has a female-gaze, although involving "hard" kinks, like sex torture or noncon. Definetly not the basic fucky-fucks I'm used to get on HTML stories with real porn. For what could be better, I think this game would be out of this world if it had original art (although the personification of the protagonist with a real model was well accomplished), but there's no way I'm rating it less than 5 stars because of that reason. It seems like there's going to be a 2.0 version, I hope it comes out soon, since you can see there's quite a few details that needs to be addressed. In any way, I'll definitely be following Kitty and The Lord games from now on!

Great story so far. The text and images are on point, making immersion into the story possible. There is room for improvement on the mechanics side of things. Can be a bit grindy but it makes the progression that much more enjoyable. Looking forward to further updates.

Whore of Babylon 1.3 Submissive path

You play as a young female protagonist nun in a convent.
I like that the whole story begins and forms around a punishment and dark fantasies start to appear. The theme and the images make the game even more dark/mysterious too.

It is a huge plus to the creators who made their photos from their friend to represent the heroine which makes the game more original along with this great set in a convent. The real moving gifs from the internet are well selected, I enjoy them a lot! Making the game seem more real.

The heroine's conflict with her rival nun makes the story more interesting. It is well written on how they talk and think. Layla is fighting with her inner self to get revenge or to submit to her rival Helen. It was nice that when I wanted to try out the other option to back up it said now you cannot go back.

There is is a sin and purification system, where you cannot go to certain places until you purify yourself for doing some good things and bad things are making you more sinful and you need to start purifying yourself again.
The side stories in the kitchen and the store and brothel are awesome! When you are under the other girl's control who uses you for their own advantage is so great to see.

It adds more sense that even a dark magical item is corrupting you so you don't just become the next slut just because. Also fighting to keep her dignity to remain pure and instead she sacrifices something else made the game even more interesting and real to its world.

My suggestion is that I would like to have more build-up, more conversations, conflicts, envy, and gradual corruption not just straight to the point actions. More subtlety like at the beginning.

Overall I love this game! An unpolished but true diamond among the games!

If you like being a female protagonist who gets corrupted and leads into the path of submission and humiliation I truly recommend this gem!

I can't wait for the more content which seems that the submissive path holds to unfold and what things are waiting for Layla.

This was alright but ultimately didn't really do much for me.

So it's a little grindy, but nothing near as bad as a ton of games, once you get into the habit (pun intended) of grabbing a cup of coffee then doing your chores or grinding out power/money as you need it then it goes fairly smoothly, and is definitely helped with the mechanic of corrupting the sisters so you eventually don't need to do the chores.

I liked the theme ... the corruption and supernatural elements are things that always appeal to me.

Buuut, the game just didn't really excite me... I obviously didn't enjoy it as a game, and as an erotic experience it never really lit a fire in me, the images presented alongside the text weren't anything special and the text itself despite the great theme and sometimes getting to some interesting stuff, (like I was a fan of the idea of doing that ritual and getting revenge and whatnot) never really managed to capitalise on it all.

So yeah, I can't say it was a bad game, but it didn't really do it for me, and I have no plans to revisit it even if it gets expanded upon, however you may fare differently with it so while I'm not recommending it I'm also not trying to ward people away.

A weird game that obviously has personality and inspiration, as well as a host of effort from all the various gifs pulled up from here and there and by all accounts has quality for what it ultimately is...

why even

One of the best games i played here.
It has a nice story with a lot of images and gifs to keep you entertained, and becomes an open-world after the story/intro which has a little grinding but it's not boring and it's actually very entertaining because of the random events that might happen.
Also the story continues in the open-world so you're not just wandering around looking for little events, which is nice.
It has some replayability due to the submission or domination system, very little typos and the theme of the game is awsome and well made.

So in my opinion it's an overall excellent game.

Great potential. Hero, villains, plenty of sexy scenes. Only negative is I'd appreciate a domination route that doesn't involve any man-on-man or trans-on-man scenes. Nothing against it, it just kinda turns me off.

Whore of babylon is an impressive game for the content that's there so far (not much).

The game explores demons and corruption from an interesting setting of actual catholic/religious context, as opposed a fantasy context. That context is also well explored and the game boldly dips it's feet on some religious debates in the dominant route.

The player choices are very meaningful (as I experienced doing dominant and submissive runs) and the layout of the text (the amount of text on the screen) and the interspersing with images is very good.

Besides that, as stated previously the spelling is remarkably good.

I also have to praise the choice of the devs of not giving the player the ability of customizing the character appearance as that is a timesink never adds to content to justify it's existence.

Finally the one thing that I feel that should be criticised is the lack of markers for the end of current content for some of the characters and places.

Heavy use of images and gifs which is nice and keeps things interesting, very few spelling and gramatical issues, and a decent story that transitions into pretty standard corruption style play.

The only cons I have about the game so far is that since it's in development there's a lot of missing content. Also the 'intro' few days seem to actually have little connection to the gameplay other than setting the story. The domination or submission that you earn over the first few days pays off on the last day, but once sandbox play starts is completely forgotten.

Bit of a shame, but at the same time at least there is a payoff on day 4.

It's not terrible and has a decent amount of content. The real porn works for me, but may not for everyone, individual tastes being what they are. You control the main character and can lead her down the path of submission or dominance, and will become pretty slutty basically no matter what you do. All in all a pretty solid game even if it never goes much farther than this.
