Should we play from 5 powers to understand what is happening?
Not really. 5Powers has contextual elements for some characters.
On the other hand, “The Witch of Fate” is a direct sequel to “The Caretaker.” The end of season 2 ties in with the beginning of this one.

It's a good surprise to know this dev have started a new game, it's also good to know that you can try it out without the fear of ending up on the big graveyard of the abandoned games because every single game this dev had started so far has been completed. I haven't finished The Caretaker yet but I like to wait until it stacks a bit more content to the new game... I can't wait to try it out.

He does not want to elaborate on anything. It's just to hurt. You put both games on the table and by far you realize it's not a downgrade.
I mean, the characters and MC’s relatives are hotter in Carataker. Everything evolves without much sense in this game there’s no build-up. Also, sorry if I didn’t see your response; I don’t want to hate on the game, it’s just my honest opinion. Your tech may have improved, but everything else feels a tier below the previous game. That’s just my opinion, I’m sorry.

It can be personal preference, of course, but I much prefer these types of characters in Carataker. This new one doesn’t even look proportional—just look at her head.
The woman related to the MC on the Carataker is a smokeshow, while the one on the right doesn’t even look human.

Regarding the fact that everything evolves without sense in this game, I would like to know what that "everything" consists of. The Caretaker was an "absurd comedy" game, where things just happened. It didn't have a story as such until the middle of season 2. Except for some exceptions, the characters didn't evolve until their respective endings.

This game of the fantasy genre poses a connected story and conflict from “day 1”, starting from where the previous game ended. You also have to allow the story to unfold so that it can explain itself.

It's a bit complicated to compare a finished game with a game that has just started.

Regarding the initial human female characters, sure, it's a matter of personal preference. Perhaps the fairest comparison for Betty or Penny would be with Blair. Since they belong to the same physical build, chubby/fat/curvy. And as for their heads, I don't think so. When I created the characters, I imagined them with quite a lot of hair volume. Anyway, you have every right, and in fact, it's fine, that you don't like certain aspects.
