Hey Small update,
im delaying 1.2.4 since well i realised some of my code was overlapping and it was just causing some many scripting errors which caused a partial rewrite of some stuff.

Also I've been working on this for a month straight and wanted to try something new and less complicated since the complicated part of this is just making it so hellish for me to code so in an effort to learn new ways things ive started a small project which can let me test features without me breaking the entire game.

Small update:
ive been working a on small project of RENPY similar concept diffrent theme.
reason being that twine java scripting has broken me and i need a break im also just thinking about just porting withering realm into renpy especially since i can do what i really wanted to do which was have:
1. randomly generated heroes.
2. dynamic events.
3. character interactions.
4. not have worry too much about a ui breaking every 2 seconds
5. Clickable maps (currently have done it in renpy but alot of the tutorials have made it look easy.)

im not abandoning withering realms since i have alot of backlog content and writing but im just taking a week break and focusing on something else and when i come back ill have a fresh set eyes.

This is the style there is a test build on patron I'm going to work on this week and by the end of if if its worth releasing ill publish the test version.

Hey everyone,


Just a quick inside into the new project.


The Core Loop – Your Base Hub Every day you wake up in your command centre and decide how to push the war forward:


  • Manage soldiers & assign squads
  • Plan regular missions (1 per day) or Spec Ops when your base levels up
  • Upgrade facilities (barracks, armory, black-site, etc.)
  • Talk to the girls you’ve recruited

That’s it. Simple, but everything feeds into everything else.


Recruitment & Relationships Right now the main way you bring new girls into the unit is through missions and personal quests. Complete the right ops → new face shows up at base → you can start talking, flirting, dating, and eventually unlock deeper storylines and scenes. The higher your relationship, the more they open up (and the more… options… become available).


Current Highlight – Elana’s Story Elana is the first fully fleshed-out companion and she just got her complete personal arc:


  • A multi-day side quest tied to her past (shows up automatically once you’re close enough)
  • Special intel-gathering missions that only appear while her quest is active
  • One big finale with three totally different endings → Romantic path (wholesome payoff, big relationship boost) → Dominant path (permanent power dynamic shift, different bonuses) → Dark path (high risk, high reward is… complicated)

Elana's Dates: Romance, Corruption, and Infinite Replayability


Elana's romance system is made to feel rewarding, as well as a set sprites so its doesn't feel too boring.

How It Works

  • SFW Date (unlocks at relationship 8+): "Hold her close under the stars" A heartfelt, emotional night where Elana opens up about her past, her fears, and her dreams for a future beyond the war. It's intimate, vulnerable, and sets up her personal questline beautifully. +4 relationship, perfect for players who want the wholesome route.
  • NSFW Date (unlocks at relationship 14+): "Take her hard and claim her completely" Full 5-stage lingerie scene with player-driven dirty talk choices:

Each ending is permanent and changes how she acts around base forever, so choose carefully.


What’s Coming Next (already in the works)


  • More girls with the same depth (recruit → talk → date → personal quest → multiple endings)
  • Base upgrades that unlock new mission types and “morale” events
  • Even darker/lighter branching paths depending on how you treat your unit

That’s the current state of the game: tight daily loop, real choices that stick, and companions that actually react to what kind of commander you decide to be. More info plus test builds are available on patron free version comes out in 3 days.

This was a fun little game to play, I'll admit

But it suffers the same shortcomings of Withering Realm


A lack of playtesting.
Many of the images just do not load, either because they have the wrong file name or something. None of the "bad end" images load, which I fear was important, as well as the locational background images like "barracks."

Despite this, and despite my inability to be good at the game, I enjoyed it (though I had to look through the game files to find the images which is a sadness)

The images not loading/existing is due to time. The Ai checkpoint i use (ponydiffusion) a lot of what pony type models can do decent anatomy but when i involve multiple characters it tends to create alot of artifacts in order for to get rid of them my workflow does multiple passes of the face and fingers as well as using hand loras for example my 2 current workflows:

because of this making images takes awhile the average render takes 2 to 5 mins

(which if I'm being honest isnt a lot) but making a render for each event, each character, each etc... also including prompting and then doing multiple renders if there is any weird artifacts and more it does add up that why i leave images empty since id rather come back to them (which has bitten me in the ass). That's why for the renpy port im going to do it in stages im gonna do all events and hope/loyalty images first. I have to rerender them since renpy is a full screen game and it would be weird having portrait images in a game that support landscape without additional coding like twine does. There plenty of ways to fix this error like use a different checkpoint such as illustrious or NoobAi and i will probably look into and see if i craft another style or invest in a giga gpu and switch to flux.

In terms of playtesting i like to add something test it, if it works fine then move on. I tried to do an early access where patreon could test the game and give me feedback but I'm like 90% sure no one on patreon even downloaded the game so im switching strategies this time around to doing phases like right now with the remastered version ive done the background work for daily events and a day system now im working on a player selected background and then imma add the images make sure that phase is done release it as a tester see what people like and dont like.

For you though since i know you like combing through images you can visit my which also has my discord server so if u want i can send some discarded renders or even ask for renders since, as funny as this is no one has asked for a specific event yet, besides the gender potion.

But overall considering Babefield took just under 2 weeks to develop i feel confident in moving forward with withering realm. Though i do kind of want to make it darker in some areas i added some events that might leave a sour taste in peoples mouth so I'm thinking about adding a tag feature to realm so u can filter out certain type of content but idk yet.

Hi guys, small update regarding Ai images so recently i decided to make the jump and update my comfyui (went from 0.3.41 to 0.3.75) as a result my custom workflow doesn't work exactly the same (the high rez fix node i used doesn't work and isn't being support/updated.) SO i had to look for some new nodes and test some new features which bring me to the now I've successfully found a solution but i want to do some tests and workshop some styles and see if I can produce better quality renders.

I want to open this testing to you guys and see what you think of the new generations are they better? are they worse? as well as style do feel like you would like to see more generation in this style or a different style. Please let me know via patreon or discord.

on average previous workflow generated an image in 2 ish mins this workflow is double.

The first more "retro-anime" style has a bit more charm to it than the alternate which is very very AI accented IMO, but I think it depends on how realistic you want the vibe of your game to be. THe first style with the new workflow looks like a nice balance, would love to see more renders.

but for now ive started on the bounties since bounty has 3 images but ive only done 5 bounties since they are replacing daily quests so i will slowly add more bounties but for when phase 1 comes out only 5 to 8 bounties will be available

With the many pages like the bounty board they look bare bones but work which is a complete 180 compared to the twine version. Yes i will be polishing it and adding background and adding custom buttons but for now as a version 0.0.0.1 its slowly coming together.

before i release the Phase 1 version of this build i want things to be set visally and mechincally so that phase 2 when i introduce invasions,heros, randomly generated heros and more it doesnt cause the gears to stop working.

right now things like the blacksmith and barracks have been completed just need to add images and add some support for when i add dynamic events to them.

for now my priorities are to do:
1.brohel and girls (assigning hero's to brothel wont be done until later on. but since these are fairly static i can do them very quickly.)
2.Shopkeeper and finish blacksmith daughter interactions
3.Church ----> as well as introduce the new corruption system (its like the renegade system from mass effect).
4.Add custom ui elements for button dialogue and backgrounds
5.Add quests.

after that phase 2 will be hero generation.

I'm also sort of running out of idea for writing at the moment in regards to events and bounties so if you have any ideas for quest or bounties im all ears.

And finally playtesting i test systems to see if they work but I'm looking for people trying to break the game as well as tell me what they like or dislike if your interested dm on patreon or discord.

ive got some fine tunning to do especially on the main brothel page but this is how the selecting girls looks like atm.
