for those who have only a black screen after starting one of my rpgmaker mv ports, uninstall the std. chrome for android app and if you need it, install the beta version. you will be able to play rpgmaker mv ports again.

Sorry to ask this but I have few questions:
1. I am little lost what do you mean by chrome beta and how does it fix the black screen problem.
2. I had no problem playing lust epidemic, Milf's villa, or Incest Story 2 till yesterday so what changed?
3. What is the step by step process required to fix black screen problem?

the latest chrome update (v72....) breaks obviously webview support for my rpgmaker mv ports.
uninstall the chrome for android app solves this problem, as your device falls back to the orig. webview support, for me it's v71.something (android 8 on a samsung).

1. uninstall chrome for android
2. if you really need chrome, change webview support from chrome to android in the dev options of your phone (but please don't ask me for a tutorial or a howto, even a f.a.q.)

Hello there, i got the same issue with Chrome Version 72.0.3626.76, a black screen on the startup.
Deactivat chrome is a momentary solution i think...
How you think it can fix it?

i have no idea what the guys @ google have changed, so either use my tip some posts back or decompile chrome.

Thank you i'm focused on this problem, untill i find a solution.
For now i find out it must be somethiing in WebViewPlayer who can't load Pixi.JS, i think something around security updates.
But i'll find a way... when i'm done, i'll share here the solution.

i wouldn't waste my time. just change the webview provider in the dev options of your phone.
