It would be really cool if there were different games with a similar theme, but focusing more on the caring/love route. I played the original, abandoned version, The Personal Assistant, and the caring route had barely any content. And I didn't dare try the other routes because I'm just not into the whole treating your "LI" badly type thing.

Hell, the LI could even be older, like in her 20s or 30s, or the MC could be younger like in his 30s or 40s. It would make a nice little heartwarming story in my opinion. But then, maybe the corruption/slave type story sells more? I see a lot of fans of wholesome games too, though, so I remain optimistic, lol.
I think there are a lot of games mixing corruption and love. Dating my Daughter maybe?

Very true, and I have played a number of those games so far. DmD as you have mentioned has that element, and Our Fate: A New Family also allows you to choose between the caring path and the dark path. My Fallen Angels and AlwaysFan ditto.

What I was talking about was the actual theme itself of a tender romance blossoming between the MC whose life had become challenging as the result of something tragic where he had now become dependent on a helper, and a kind and capable LI who would apply for the position of the said helper. The MC's condition could be temorary, as that could be another element of hope, where the player could work towards the path of healing both in the physical sense as well as emotional. The only game that I can think of that has a sort of similar concept is Reclusive Bay where the MC suffers from amnesia, but it isn't quite the same.
